I dont understand why there are a lot of women who want to kill their own unborn babies. And They are fighting day and night for the right of killing their unborn babies. I hope they can learn from this mother eagle.

After a certain point, the snow actually begins to act as an insulator. The layer keeps the ambient temp in and the exterior cold away. That's why people survive in snow caves they've dug in the middle of nowhere. When you reach a certain amount of snow on your roof, the heat in your home actually refuses to fall anymore if the walls are properly insulated and the warmth is maintained.
I feel the same way. But God built them to withstand these harsh conditions. The down they have close their skin is such the perfect insulation. The outer feathers covered in there own natural oils prevents moisture from getting close to those down feathers. It's Beautiful thing how they can do this. Tough to watch but she or he knows what they are doing. They take turns.
My last name was Decora, my dad was Hocâk. I never knew much about that side of the family, but this says Decorah is where its taken place?!? Where is that exactly? The location of the nest is on private property and therefore not public. There is also an eagle nest at the Decorah Fish Hatchery, that one you can visit all year long :-)
