Absolutely mesmerizing footage! 🦅 The 4K HQ quality really brings the Peregrine Falcon nesting experience to life. Nature at its finest! The intricate details of their behavior and the stunning aerial views are truly captivating. Thanks for sharing this incredible glimpse into the world of these majestic birds. Nature enthusiasts, this is a must-watch! 👇
Wonderful video quality! I love the hatchlings when they first dry, so cute and fluffy with their white down. Mom waiting patiently for all of the eggs to hatch and all of the chicks to dry. Dad it quick to bring the first round of food. Raptor parents make such a perfect team
Peregrine Falcons are my favourite bird of prey and I've spent many weeks and months protecting nests from egg collectors and chick robbers here in the UK 🇬🇧
Beautiful! Really looks like that nest site is the very broken down remains of an old Raven nest....with some of the larger stick fragments still visible and intact. It just looks like a place where you could just sit down and have lunch, but I'm sure it's actually a very inaccessible spot, with a sheer drop off just below.
Your spot on! an old raven nest check this older video of same location ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-PdC7VM4pKRU.html It is a cliff edge im filming from with a drop of about 150ft! many thanks for watching and commenting!

Thanks so much for sharing a rare and precious glimpse into the beloved peregrine falcon's nesting life! About the 4th chick that fell down from the nesting ledge, I understand that most photographers try not to interfere with what happens in nature, but shooting a camera at them is already a kind of interference, and in return for their gift for us to share a view of their real life, how about a gloved helping hand (to avoid human smell on the chick) from the photographer to put that poor fallen chick back on the ledge?! If there was technical hindrance to stop the photographer from reaching the fallen chick or something like that, I would understand. Otherwise, "helping each other" is something that happens all the time in nature, even among animals of different species! Just a thought, and some sadness. Of course, we might still think that the fallen chick might fall off again even after a rescue, but who knows, unless one has tried a rescue, just for once!?
Thankyou for watching! We had a climber go down the rock face to save it! it was returned to the nest but sadly another one jumped! At this stage it is more risky to approach the nest as more chicks could jump!
Thanks so much for your reply! Truly appreciate that you guys have already made a rescue effort, bravo!! And I totally agree that in view of the chick's jumping behavior, the decision to stop intervention is a correct one. Thanks and blessings to your November trip to the States! @@Glasgowurbanwildlife
12:38 The bird that the falcon ate has a Tag on its legs.. Which means its one of those birds raised or look after by someone prolly from government and got registered in a Bird cencus data.. ive seen people put tags on bird legs when they r young…
Thanks a lot for the video. I’m actually writing a story I hope to turn into an anime that involves birds, with the main heroine representing the peregrine falcon. P.S. It’s sad about the fourth chick falling and being ignored to its death. I would have rescued that one little chick. 😢
Great film. And brings back memories of filming young Peregrines many years ago at close range on a crag near Perth. After the species recovered I have read that there is a worrying decline again in UK?
