I really like that you incorporated books into the decor, and had the colorful spines showing. I think that when books are placed without the spines showing it looks fake. The living room looks very pretty.

Girl, I love your new furniture! And one of my favorite pieces was the thing your brought in that you said had cobwebs! It was perfect for the space where you put it. I love the two tables that you had together on the wall! Beautiful just beautiful! It definitely grabs the eyes! The colors are so pretty in the room! I would love for you to do a walk through of your home. I have noticed in home decor these days that less is more! My son and his wife just built a new home out in West Monroe, Louisiana. What a fun day! I struggled with decorating my fireplace. It was built in 1991. In those days, they used pinkish and gray bricks. I needed to dampen down the pink. I used farmhouse decor and then we bought a grey washed media console and coffee table for that room. That did it! The pink barely shows. Yay me!

Your living room looks great! All that is missing is white lights around the room to bring out the ambience. Even with the candles with the soft white ceiling lights wiuld make it wven more relaxing and romantic. I sure wish you were. Awe! Loved this! I’ve watched Mandy and Steven for a couple years now and actually remember you being on there once too! It was fun seeing yall shop and style her space! I promise though if I can grow plants she can! lol Get a philodendron (sp?) / pothos and it will grow there with little maintenance! My fav touch was the little oval frame and the stool!

Mandy, I really enjoyed this video. Even though I am years older, we apparently have some of the same tastes. I love the color blue, and have been working on boho style. One color I found that makes my blue furniture pop is sort of a melon color. Thanks for sharing this video and your sweet friend. Another thing I like are pitchers & interesting vessels, & definitely candles

There are several low-light plants that would survive in your living room besides the snake plant which is also called a mother-in-law's tongue that only require water once a week. A couple of real orchids would fit in well also. I do love live plants. I love watching you and your family and all those delicious recipes you all make. I love Gracie Lou too! God bless you all. ❤
