Additional tip: a hot knife works even better than the carver MaCenna is using for intricate designs! I love carving these pumpkins because they last forever. 🥰

Don’t sweat the small stuff sweetie. Most of our houses get messy at times. Some stay a mess. Give yourself some grace. You’re probably still recovering from your trip. Quick tip ~ as a long time Halloween graveyard decorator ~ use a chiller on ur fog machine, it will keep the fog low on the ground vs regular fog machine fog will go up and fly away. Fog chillers can be DIY'd or purchased already done. Enjoy! Love ur channel.

Have you ever considered moving your desk to the dinning area and then putting your table where your desk is? It can often be good to put your work desk in its own space to help give that needed break from work. I know you’ve said neither of you eat at the table but if it were in that cozy nook in the family room you could eat there while watching t.v.

You might put drainage holes in the bottom of the pumpkins 🎃 to drip out any rain water and to prevent damaging the tree. The pumpkins are so cute and I love the skeleton hanging out with the light and spiderwebs!!

For stabilizing your pumpkin lights: try blu-tack. Like the stuff every high school kid uses to put up posters of whatever it is that the kids are into these days. It's sticky enough to hold but easy to remove if you need to.

Being in Australia, we don't traditionally celebrate Halloween, (it is starting to be more common to see decoration however) so it's incredible to see what you all do. Love it! .and loved Romeo's "Jack Skeletor..or whatever he is called..."

Use clear fishing line to hang the pumpkins. Makes them look like they are floating. The only thing is too make sure the test (how much weight the line can hold) is appropriate for the weight of your pumpkins. We moved to a neighborhood where our neighbors casually mentioned that the neighborhood was into Halloween. That was an understatement. We were not prepared for the 600 children that came through the neighborhood the first year, but it was so much fun. The second year it was really cold and rainy and 600 + kids and their families still showed up. I think we had more fun the second year. Gist of the story, you might want to get a little more details on what they mean by Halloween is big in the neighborhood. Love all your decorations.

Amazing! Well done! Obsessed with Jack Also just a side idea; have you maybe considered some shallow shelf and baskets against the closet blank wall and some hooks for hats/bags/scarfs. You could fold shirts and place in basket or place on shelves. You are so creative and I’m sure you can make your closet awesome

Try to heat the flour tortillas in a pan, they always are undercooked and as a mexican, I always scream a little bit when I watch people eat them undercooked. They will taste better, I promise!!

Instead of candy I go to dollar store and buy stuff, rubber bugs or dinosaurs, play dough, nail polish, cute socks, tooth brushes and tooth brush covers, etc. the kids picked what they wanted. Believe it or not nail polish for girls and cute socks girls picked, boys like rubber bugs. But most popular item was tooth brushes( mom’s didn’t tell them to pick) I was shocked

XO, McCenna you are my go too for so long now.... I just love your energy. I left for work this morning at 6.30am and got home at 7.30pm, it has been like that for the past 20 years. I so look forward to watching your vlogs and everything else. Paris made me so jealous....I am going to Rome next week for 5 days (a holiday in the making with 14 years) but it has been hectic with work I now regret now not doing what you did, like the authentic stay. I just did flights, transfers and hotel it was just easier.....but I am really regretting it now.

Half the battle is mindset, so put your regrets away! You're going to have a fabulous time! Sit down in front of your computer and start with a map, finding your hotel, then start searching what's nearby that you can easily walk to. Look for points of interest, coffee shops, gelato places, restaurants, etc. so you have some easy quick stops and fill-ins. Then search and decide what bigger sights you want to see. Don't choose too many and keep referencing the map to find which places are in the same area so you can walk between a couple of places and save on transportation costs - it would be silly to go somewhere one day and then go back to the same area in another day and pay for the trip twice. Research some restaurants in your price range and maybe one splurge dinner. Or check to see if your splurge location is open for lunch as you can eat similar great food in a smaller amount for less. You'll be excited in no time! I hope you have a marvelous time!🇮🇹🇮🇹🇮🇹

I have never trick or treated in my life so I’m looking forward to see what it’s like for you and Romeo and I’m really excited to see how it goes. I love the tree pumpkin idea! If your still stumped, I suggest purchasing solar string lights and attaching plastic pumpkin trick or treat baskets over them. All you have to do is punch the eyes out of the face and it will give you the same effect for cheaper.
