Kinsley is such a good helper, especially when making the bed. She oversees everything.

Dash of Pepper on the walls was the right answer!! The warmth it brings?! Just WOW. And I can't get over that dresser find, what a BEAUTY. Thats a "pass down through generations" piece. You have outdone yourself once again. Coming home to this after a long day would be like walking into a warm, well dressed hug.😅😊

As a photographer myself, I loved that you actually incorporated photography as decor. I think finding the right photographer and photography style, photos can be part of the decor and completely personalizes a room. Love that it’s you and Romeo.

I’m glad you left the doors and windows white otherwise it would have been too dark I think. That way it’s the perfect balance in my opinion. Love this ❤

Your little helper is most precious; please explain to her / him what is going on…dogs want to know, and then they understand and feel more included in what is changing …hugs and kisses for your baby!

Romeo offering you that oreo while you were building the bed together is just the epitome of everything I want for myself in the future! And your eye for detail is just amazing, like that final touch of the books in the window and switching out the knobs on the nightstands. This room turned out so lovely!

That spray paint sequence is the most satisfying thing I've seen in all of 2023

As a person who works in an art gallery, the standard for hanging art on the wall is between 57"- 60" to the middle of the piece. For example, if you have artwork that is 20" long, hang the piece so that the top sits between 67" and 70" high on the wall. It'll look great every time - not too low, not too high!

Great moody bedroom! As a former rug designer and colourist, I noticed the white, looked like thread bare areas, in the beautiful rug you purchased. You could get a fabric dye or coffee dye and dab those areas with a sponge to soften and blend the colours so there is not such a contrast. This will not hurt the rug in any way. It is nice to see a designer willing to experiment with colour, still keeping everything soft, calming, and neutral. Good job.

I think if you colour drench the windows and doors it would be just ughh so ❤ beautiful. Or maybe the same tone as your dresser. The white seems a little stark compared to the rest of your super calming, moody space. It has inspired me to want a dark and moody bedroom too😊

You should paint the plugs and switches to be invisible with the wall ! Because they are white so obvious in the dark wall .

Love your bedroom, the dark color makes it so relaxing. My family room is a dark greenish blue, has white plantation shutters on 3 walls of windows. Every one told me it was too dark, now all agree it is perfect. I have colors painted throughout my home, all with a blue base except 1 guest bedroom and master suite.

Okay, this confirms I need a moody styled bedroom😆! That paint color is 🔥🔥🔥and I love that you kept the room soft with the other neutral colors for decor, it adds a nice balance and airiness to the room and really makes it cozy as intended, well done!

Omg I absolutely love the bedroom transformation it’s so beautiful

The bed seems kind of beachy in this setting. Otherwise the room is stunning and reminds me of the beautiful entryway in the cottage. I also like the chair by the doors and the brass knob on the dressers, with the brass lamp and I obviously love the books by the window! But the bed frame doesn’t do it for me, I must admit. I also would have colour drenched all the fixtures and outlets. The moulding looks great and yes, that painting is transformed next to those greens! It’s like it was freshly polished, the greens of the painting pop much more now. I didn’t think I’d like the dresser, I thought I’d be too light, but it looks really good, especially with that mirror and the organic vase and the styling items on top. The rug was the perfect choice, its edged almost melt into the brick in such a special and organic way. But the bed does not do it justice. I’m not saying the concept of it is bad, I see the idea, but the lines aren’t aligned and too sparse, it’s more preppy beachy than light yet moody delicate vintage striped. It doesn’t feel elevated in this room, and since it is basically the star of the room, I genuinely hope that one day you’ll come across a bed frame that is just as beautiful as the dresser and genuinely is worthy of being in this cozy almost-library bedroom.

It would be verrrry cool to add curtains in the bedroom around the French doors, both for added softness in the design but also privacy/functionality

As a dark and moody lover, I love that you went this dark in your bedroom. It's good to see something different to a lot of other channels that just do light neutrals. Dash of pepper was my favourite. I have dark forest green in my kitchen and utility room and one wall of dark blue in my bedroom, but want to do green colour drench in my living and dining rooms. I liked it before it looks very nice with a lot of light but after the make over you just gave that room so much personality i wouldnt want to get up in the morning looks so cozy warm and soothing .

We actually have a very simillar color in our bedroom. I love it, especially since the nights are very light here in the summer and it feels really cozy.

Honestly, this is my favorite room makeover you have ever done, in terms of no full renovation. I absolutely love what you've done to update the bedroom and the en suite. I think I may be sad if you change it all during the future renovation planned! Phenomenal job girly. Also- I just received my candle and it's beautiful in every way. I am saving it to burn after the New Year, but just respect so much the thought and work that went into creating such a product. Please let yourself feel proud. You should.

I have quilt fabric in that color and think it is beautiful. Haven't made the quilt yet, but look forward to it. I have never gone so dark, it is beautiful. I never leave white walls, but generally paint walls in a mid tone. My junky kitchen needs remodeled, but in the meantime I painted my cabinets black! They surround a 10' window to the woods. I love it! The cabinetry recessed and the south window glows with evergreens and sunlight. I painted the walls tan. Knowing I would rip it out let me experiment. I love your moody kitchen cabinets and that look changes the cabinet pick. I already picked up a thrifted window for the west side which matches the east window. A thrifted antique breakfast table will sit under that west window and overlook the valley below me. The east window overlooks my back courtyard with my 8 raised bed vegetable/herb garden and my zen garden and retreat just beyond it and the mountain beyond that. One day I'll tackle that kitchen! No plumbing moves, a plus. I bought a junky house on gorgeous land! Still, after killing the mortgage, I am upgrading the house a bit.

When i was watching the part 1 dash of pepper was my favourite. To me it seems on camera to have a hint of mossy green which i love but some how when you were painting it on the board it tied with the grout between bricks. But it does come darker than it was showing initially and i love it. After seeing before and after, color drench was the write way to go that all white bedroom looks like workroom to me but after the paint OMG! It is so cozy and comfy; it’s like sitting in room overlooking to a stormy rainy day and that’s my favourite weather ❤❤❤❤ it make me want to lay down and relaxing.

My dad had those same marble horse bookends in his office when I was a kid. That unlocked a memory I had forgotten! That first view of your room with your dresser and mirror was breathtaking! I love everything your're doing with your home and I'm still hoping with you that we get to see a baby nursery soon!

It’s gorgeous. The windows and doors could definitely use something. For the windows I’ve seen scalloped bamboo shades or a scalloped rattan valance. Stained dark. That would be amazing.

As someone with deep green walls the whole atmosphere is so cozy and warm. With red wood tones and creamy white trim, carpet and ceiling it's so cozy! Love the makeover!
