The way I see The Sims 4 is kind of the same way I see New Horizons. It looks amazing and the customization is great, but it lacks so much of what made the past games so charming and special

As for the Sims: If you wanted to do some soaps on the Sims I'd be 100% down to watch.

The Sims 4 isn't so bad, people are a bit dramatic when they talk about it. But you definitely need expansion packs, emphasis on multiple packs, because the base game is so boring on its own, in ways that the base Sims 2 and 3 weren't. To start off I'd recommend the Cats and Dogs, City Living, and Seasons expansion packs.

your part about frogs becoming popular really made me want to tell you that you definitely raised frogs up in my own tier list. Hearing so many of your talks about frogs really made me realize not only how cute they are, but how important and crucial they are. I'll take any chance I get with people to be like "hey have you heard about this global amphibian crisis..."

Always dealt with old people at the zoo, who PAID for tours through the reptile house, only to say things like "The only good snake is a dead snake" And then I have to spend half the tour convincing them otherwise and its just so.... T i r e d Now I work in cybersecurity and its a different flavor of stress

Listening to Amanda talk about all the side plots of Sims 2 makes me realise how little I played the actual game compared to how much I just spent designing characters and houses 😅😂

Bats are one of my favourite animals (right behind sharks) and I’ve actually saved four bats ! I work in an old pub and bats tend to fly in and can’t figure out how to get out, so I’ve caught them, fed them, gave them water, and released them at night time ! A couple weeks ago I had to help out a tiny pup and he was just the cutest thing I’ve ever seen, I love bats 🥺💖

I’m so glad you answered a question about the sims. I, too, am obsessed! Will you ever do a let’s play for us? Sims 4 isn’t too bad. I think it’s improved along the way with all the additions. Cottage Living is beautiful. The only thing that makes it less remarkable for me than sims 3 is the omission of the open world and ughhhh!! The color wheel! I loved the color wheel. It made things so much more customizable!

I don’t think that the sims four is absolutely awful in every way, but if you ever do decide to play it I recommend getting at least a few packs because the base game has absolutely nothing of substance and you can’t do anything very interesting. If you do get packs for the game I recommend cottage living as one of them because it’s one of the bast in my opinion :) Edit: the Bella Goth mystery is also non-existent in the sims four, as is most of the lore from the older games

watching you decorate is such a wild ride. i'm constantly trying to figure out where your brain is at and i'm like oh! i understand what she's doing! and then all of a sudden you're off running some place else! it's so relatable

The fact your frog is more successful than I’ll ever be is amazing. Also, I love watching these event play out bc it’s like watching ur fave drama show.

If you set up the reception in front of the residence center and have it at 5pm or 6pm on Sunday then a few of the residence will be out there looking like they attended the reception. And then at 7pm the fireworks will start. Just a suggestion if you want some of the residence to attend. And usually every hour the residence change during the fireworks.

I would LOVE LOVE LOVE to see you play Sims 4, especially the Island, Pets and Spooky packs. I think you'd love them too! It's really not that bad now, there's a lot of fun elements to it, and lots to do, but Sims 2/3 will always be the best for me.

PLEASE play sims. it’s so fun. if you get it on pc and install mods it’ll install some fun stuff to the game. i think you’d love create a sim and building. and you are incredibly creative. you could create your own story lines and play out stories. or make your acnh villagers in the sims

the Sims 4 isn’t worth the money IMO because the game is mediocre even with expansions, so I went back to Sims 2. that being said I would LOVE to watch you play through Pleasantview storylines!

Would love to see you play The Sims (Any of them) With your creative storytelling, it would be really enjoyable to watch! I haven't played The Sims 4 too much, I only recently picked it up again and after buying some expansions and packs, it has made it more enjoyable. (Too bad EA is so greedy, you need to spend more money to have a good time with their game). But with the magic and cottage living pack and paranormal pack, I've been able to make a green witch who helps neighborhood sims deal with haunted houses. That's been really fun. Also, I only killed sims to make graveyards for neighborhoods, since in the older games, that's the only way I knew how to make them. Always felt kinda bad though.. Can't wait to see, what I consider, the wedding of the year. :D Thanks for the video!

okay, i REALLY recommend plumbella’s sims lore series. she explains the history of every family and i promise you will get sucked in. i’m also a huge sims geek and would love to see u play it! i’d recommend testing out the sims 4 (probably when it’s on sale), but if you’ve played every game you’ll probably be disappointed :/

I personally loved sims 4 but I hadn't played any before it. The expansions are expensive so its a bit weird but I got it on ps4 so they often have sales and stuff. I enjoyed it.

I am LIVING for the bat rant! I had to get up this morning at 6:30 to go catch a brown bat in my moms house. It wouldn’t fly away after I got it outside. Then I called about 10 different places before I found somewhere that would even take it in. And THEN drove over an hour to meet a lady that does rehab for bats. It was a tiny BABY and deserved all the love and care humanly possible. (The rehab lady called me and said he will be okay btw 🙂 hopefully he can be released tomorrow.)

As a fellow Libra and fellow sims fanatic, I felt what you said about playing it. I could spend hours, days, years, playing then suddenly stop for a long period of time. I played all the Sims games up until 4. I'm happy with 3 and can't let go of the open world, color wheel, etc. From my extensive research about Sims 4, it seems that the personalities are pretty non-existent and it's more arbitrary what they do. The drama doesn't stick for very long and you can control and over ride every little thing they do. In previous games, the drama actually felt like it had consequences. I'd love to watch you play. Any of the Sims games really. Enjoying your content!

One thing that was incredibly interesting that my mom always told me about was a psychic reading she got at a psychic institute. Basically the psychic did a reading with a rose where she was able to tell my mom that she would have 2 twin daughters. About 20-25 years later, me and my twin sister were born. She said there were a lot of other crazy accurate parts of that reading too. Anyway i thought that was cool.

I've played a lot of Sims games and Sims 4 I've played the most. It really isn't that bad. I've also watched SO many RU-vidrs and Twitch streamers play the Sims 4 for the past several years, just now Animal Crossing has taken over my life. The packs worth buying first are Seasons, Cats and Dogs, and the farm one that came out a year or two ago. I LOVE snakes I have 1.. for now

I'm one of those rare people who love ts4. I could agree that they missed out in so much, there's so much potential but I have to buy like the expansions to make your gaming worth it. I'm old lol I got all the sims game, and played all the side ones, urbz, bustin out too

I went with my mom and her friends to see a local medium, and I went in with zero expectations, for better or for worse. It was a sort of small event where you don’t reserve ahead of time, so the dude didn’t know who was coming. We got to a part of the gathering where the medium would read things from certain people in the audience. My mom’s friend was chosen (she’s never met him before). For background, my mom’s friend’s husband died many years ago, and she and he sang songs together, in particular, two very specific songs. Her husband would also wear Hawaiian shirts. These things are only know of by her very close friends, including my family. When the medium got to my mom’s friend, he, during a section where he talked to passed loved ones, mentioned these VERY personal and private things, even though he had need seen or heard of my mom’s friend before. They weren’t things you could guess easily, even if educated. All this to say, I kept an open yet caution mind that day, and afterwards I started believing a little bit more in the unbelievable.

The Urbz is SO amazing. Play it Sometimes and i'm 27. But the Drama in this Game and the Characters are so funny and amazing.

Legit, cute snek vids and danger noodle memes have saved layman snake communication. Even people I know who have a primal fear of them are more like "Please no noodles" instead of "KILL THE SNAKE". This generation's contrast is STUNNING and gives me so much hope for "the unlovables" out there

sims 4 is worth it, in my opinion. the gameplay is not as good as the other games, and it has a lot of bugs, BUT the building and decorating makes it worth it for me. i would loooove to see a sims 4 series from you, amanda❤

The first time I saw a bat, it was a little brown bat, and I remember being so excited as it flew over our campfire.
