I absolutely love how your hutch came out. It came out so beautiful. Americana decor is my favorite. I have our dining room and living room in Americana and United States Marine Corp all year. I'm very proud of my family who have served. Between my hubby, brother-in-law, sister-in-law, and father-in-law, they have served over 65 years in our military.

Its can be scary thing in today world to have your child or brother serving & fighting for our country. I didnt understand what family's truely Sacrificed until my brother & Son joined the military. The hutch looks beautiful,I love the new dishes. Try putting a brown paper bag over that water mark on your hutch and using a warm iron to remove it. That is moisture under the finish and this should dry it up.

The hutch came out very nice. Love the new dishes. The red pail with holes in it would look pretty with a tea light at night even for the patio. The picture with the flowers and nest has such nice colors !

I like the hutch - i'm beginning to streamline my vignettes and decorating in general. It makes it easier to see what is special about each one. Cute bowls/plates and the white bowl is so pretty! What great thrift shops you have down there! Great finds!!! Love the blue dishware and the white bowl. That red pail with the stars will look great at Christmas time with a tealight in it or holding candy canes! Your teapot on the middle shelf looks very Colonial and is a great addition to your 4th of July decor. Love that your hutch is more patriotic the closer you look at it, if that makes sense, like when you see the picture on that blue plate or the stars in the red pail. Stephanie, the Avon butter dish is a replica of an old round butter keeper when they made home made butter and made round butter balls. I used to have a depression glass one in green and would make cheese balls at Christmas and put my cheese ball in it to serve.

I think you need to think of a cool way to mix the blue dishes (and more of them if you can find them) from today’s thrift haul with green dishes that you can find along your thrifting journey!!! I think these blue dishes would go really beautifully with the right shade of green.
