You come up with such beautiful ideas always. When something looks really good, you add more by painting them and make it fabulous. I love the wiggle wire technique. I love throwing, but I also love hand building. You have given me ideas I couldn't come up with myself. Your instructions are always great.
Terrific ideas, Ann, as usual. You might think about using a fine brush with food color to make your marks. I use it for that purpose on a lot of my hand built pots.
Love, love, love your video! How you are able to make pottery with longer fingernails is a complete mystery. 😂 I have to file mine down or I’m finding little 1/2 moon shapes all over the place! I look forward to seeing the glazed, finished ones. 🌷
Hey Amanda. It is called a spinner trimmer tool and I got it from Diamond Core tools. It has come in so handy. I think JIm put the link to it in the description section under the video. Have a great weekend!
@@annruel9142 thanks just teaching myself by watching and practicing and asking as many questions as possible. You truly are creative and talented. One day I'll get there.
sometimes if you look online at the company who packages your clay, they may tell you. The way I figured it out was to create bars of clay by cutting up slabs into strips and then marking it while it was still fresh. I then let them dry and fired them to the high fire temperature. that way you can measure how much your clay shrunk. Does that make sense?
