We have been camping at several areas of water here in Florida and I have so many shells to work with! Most are on the smaller size but I have two giant King Bay oyster shells I want to deco if I can get all the barnacles off them! So pretty! Thanks!
Beautiful 💕. Unfortunately, we do not have such beautiful large shells here in the Netherlands. Too bad it seems to make me so much fun. They turned out very beautiful 💕 love from the Netherlands
@@JoanMarieDomino ok.. I do have a few of my friends living there. How much will it cost me Joan ? My friends live in California, Texas & Charlotte. Do u stay in any of these places ?
Hi! I use just regular acrylic paint I get in the small bottles from a crafting/hobby store. I am using more chalk paint now. Thank you for watching my video! - Joan
Wendy Hibbet Hi! I use regular acrylic paint, the inexpensive kind, whatever is on sale. I do like using white chalk paint for a base coat. I use acrylic water resistant clear sealant. I’m not sure what brands you have but I use by Krylon or Rustoleum. I hope that helps! 🙂
Go to your local seafood restaurant and ask them if you can have some discarded shells. I get oyster shells from a local restaurant. They love the fact that people find uses for them. They don’t charge me anything. Never hurts to ask.
RPassiatore Hi! The writing on the inside was also decoupaged with tissue that had words printed on them. I don’t do good enough lettering to do it by hand. If you can do good hand lettering then you can use a black paint marker. Thank you! ❤️
