Jason Murphy far from it. you've redefined my morning routine: 5am: hit alarm, drink beer, go back to sleep. 6: hit alarm, pretend to want to get up to work out, pee instead. 7: consider calling in to work sick. hit snooze again. 8: realize I've already burned sick days. Get up and pretend to be an adult until rush hour home.

I guarantee if you have a beer before you start working, you will have a more joyful and productive day. I'm pushing hard to make beer at work, unless operating heavy dangerous equipment and vehicles, less taboo. As long as it's beer and it's just one, you will be satisfied. Just look at brewing company employees. They are allowed (encouraged) to drink and they are the happiest bunch of employees you'll ever see.

Used my handheld scanner to pick up SSTV transmissions from the International Space Station a few weeks ago. Only problem was that every time a car drove past, I got a fat band of static on the decoded image!

has no one figured out the secret message at the end? this is my first time discovering these guys and I am disappointed that all the comments are meaningless ascii and binary codes but the true gem, the hidden message at the end of the video, no one has deciphered... makes me sad... makes me feel as though I would have to do it myself! (after I get some sleep)

there is also sstv where you use the same idea at a lower quality to get film/moving picture.... this wonderful technology allows you to see neil armstrong on the moon

I wasn't able to get this app to work (not with their audio, because it was obviously incomplete).. but with the SSTV Enconder that I believe they both used which has a demo image of the SMPTE color bar. It was all gibberish. Can anyone get this stuff to work? There are so many modes within the app and they no longer have phase or skew on the app as far as I can tell.

I think it was shot pretty much just like the rest of our stuff, just graded differently. We had audio problems during that segment, so I think the idea was to stylize the exploratory footage to match the audio and distinguish it from the studio footage.

we still use this mode in ham radio. it's not unusual to transfer pictures over HF or receive them from the ISS.
