Recently Western DFC (till Sanand- GJ) has been connected with Eastern DFC (Sonnagar-BR). So only 3 sections are left for completion: 1. WDFC (Sanand- JNPT) 2. EDFC (Ludhiana- Dadri) 3. EDFC (Sonnagar- Dankuni)

A quick question, How can these trains improve the time efficiency of passenger trains? The goods trains always are always have lower priority compared to the passenger ones?

You made a small mistake in the beginning. A diagonal is a line connecting two opposite sides of a quadrilateral. In this case it will be a North -South corridor and an East-West corridor. EDFC and WDFC make up two adjacent sides of golden quadrilateral not diagonals.
