She is probably talented at something but she’s not talented in rap, artistry. The bed wench and image of savage black male is what the masses want obviously. The numbers talk.
If B-High had drill rappers on here everyday confessing to their crimes he would have over a million subs right now. This is a true hip hop platform that isn’t scared to go against the grain, and tell it like it truly is. I just want to salute B High for staying true to who he is, and being a light in a dark game.
Rappers are not the problem. They are broadcasting what's going on in the streets. It's sad that people that think they are woke don't attack the problem. On some real shit if every artist rap positive and sprinkle sugar on shit will the government and the World Change!!! FUCK NO!!!!!!!
The industry didn't want Lauren to create another album like her debut because it gave women the idea of uplifting, educating yourself, making good decisions, and understanding/loving a man.
that and she was crying a lot in the cloning centers because she was severely traumatized by what she saw in cloning. a bunch of horrifying evil. they let her go because they felt bad. dont believe me? ask donald marshall
@@jiggaman000📌 I ALWAYS say this when ppl just STOP the artistry when one door closes. I be like.. 😕 Do ppl not know the power's that they possess? Can't feel sorry for yaself. Gotta KEEP chugging.
@@jaeeluvI think it became a lot more difficult to do just cuz she was older, has a child and everything involving her current contract. Well, she did put out some newer music afterwards , but everyone usually remember her for the MELH
THANK YOU... absolutely. They are LITERAL slaves of satan...and what's even SADDER, is after THIS LIFE... of serving and compromising themselves and THEIR PEOPLE...they have eternity to PAY for what they've done. Boy...it's a he11 of a bum deal!
C’mon Turk ha we gotta call it like it is. Turk just don’t wanna be disrespectful to anyone cause he’s tied in. But this music industry does nothing but glorify filth, violence, and material possessions. It is what it is. Everybody knows this we just don’t like calling out or holding specific artists accountable. For fear of retaliation or losing key connections with specific groups or corporations. Just look at what hiphop was as a whole in the 90’s to now in 2023. It’s pretty obvious the direction hiphop went. A blind man can see that. The question is do you believe this is a result of self infliction or a strategic plan to destroy HipHop. Salute to Turk for engaging in these discussions tho. N I agree with Turk on how he mentioned at some point you just have to let go n let the niggas be niggas, n let us intelligent forward thinking progressive black folk move on and focus on raising our families accordingly.
To a certain extent. Rappers are not the problem. There are gate keepers, politicians, and other powers that yall don't know about. It's just a waste of time and energy to focus the Rappers. Don't get blindsided by the fake beef and the fake love shit rolls downhill. It's easy and safe to go at our own kind but dey scared to go against the people that are really calling shots
That’s the thing though, there is no balance in that industry. The biggest artist usually push the most poison. If you have something positive to say you ain’t getting no play. It’s about how they want the world to perceive us or who they want to represent us and unfortunately other groups/communities don’t respect us bc they see we don’t respect ourselves. Imo atleast..
We put out an image and get mad when people see us as that. Its like your riding down the street on a unicycle, juggling, with a big red nose, giant rubber shoes, a green wig and getting mad when people call you a clown.
I think dudes are real life scared to be different. Too worried about what others think of them to be their own person. Rappers aren't getting the big bag like they use to, so they might as well start being creative and start doing what they feel and not what everyone else who is chasing the bag is doing.
Been following Dee-1 every since he dropped that Jay 50 and Weezy track years ago. The brother stand on something and has never changed. His message is real folks. And the brother can really rap.
@@bighenmusik Agree but I think he knows it’s business because he has turned down several deals and “Laid on the sword” as Bhigh said. He’s successful doing it his way and and not everyone is going to do it like him. It’s just the world we live in bro.
@@CountryBoiWaver calling people our ain't the way to do it, he could've kept doing it like he been doing it since he so successful. He going at the wrong people anyway, go at the big people if he really wanna do something. And if you don't like a certain music, don't listen to it.
@@jiggaman000 you don't think we need it for you or somebody else? Cause what about the people that want it? This my thing, if you don't like it or rock with it.. DONT LISTEN TO IT. Oh and teach your kids it's just entertainment like the movies.
I am LOVING this conversation! To Turk's point about the content in female music. The over-glorification of sex and materialism is more prevalent in MAINSTREAM female Rap artists' music. Even the white ones push it. But other genres of music don't push the over-glorification of sex and materialism, no matter the ethnicity of the artist.
How about as black people we stop comparing ourselves to other races and start holding ourselves accountable..this is literally what dee1 is trying to do
I don’t think they “got into it.” Two grown men shared different opinions. Two grown men heard each other. No loud talking no threatening. And they both agreed enough at the end at the end to move on with the topic. This is healthy conversation and is beyond needed in our culture.
Yeah but Dee 1 is right kids ars listening these old gangsta music and it is the sound track to their life and if they choose to be rappers it’s showing them the blue print to rap about gangsta life
@@dogbeats9808 he didn’t say the kids he said 40 year olds and it’s music, you don’t have to listen to it no one is forcing you. And if you have kids then you need to parent better if you don’t want them listening to it. If you not able to teach your kids that this is just entertainment then that’s your fault. I don’t agree with a lot of music out now but I don’t choose to listen to it.
@@JoshLord107 go listen again he said kids are still listening to old school music and we can say don’t listen to it but kids is listening to this music and they are mimicking it it facts not an opinion
@@dogbeats9808 go to the 40sec mark he says 40 year old men and that’s lack of structure that starts at home brother not with music. You are your child’s first teacher.
Change requires dialogue. Turk represents a different perspective which allows dialogue to take place. This platform wouldn't be productive if everyone on the podium shared the same opinion. You have to be ready and willing to work with and challenge the perspective of people who are different than you if you want things to change for the betterment of society as a whole.
That’s true. But Ultimately, one of their Stances has to be close to the truth for Change to really happen. You’re not going to see much change that is Good if everyone always has a different stance and opinion. Cus then it’s like, what’s the goal here?
@@dajourphil0soph3r36 The goal is to understand each other's perspectives so that we can come to a mutual agreement. At the end of the interview everyone agreed on 2 key points: 1) We need more substance in hip hop as a whole. 2) The older generation needs to set a better example for the younger generation.
B High, at some point it becomes deeper than just “paying the bills”. Many of these artists have made more than enough to provide for their families and give back to their communities. Hell, even Rick Ross, who is the topic of this conversation, claims that he’s one year away from becoming a billionaire. So my question is, how much is enough? My barber told me years ago, when a drug dealer is making so much fast money, when does he know when to stop? It’s literally the same thing here.
Well, that would require them to be HONEST about HOW they got their money and WHO will allow them to stop. Understand, the devil don't play fair...MOST of these artist would LOVE to bow out, but their blood oath contracts tell them WHAT THEY CAN DO. These people have sold their souls and taken an oath... Rick Ross is SOLD, Meek is SOLD, Jay Z is SOLD... these ppl couldn't bow out if they wanted to. Bob Dylan would LOVE to rest, but he'll be the first one to tell you..."the big guy" makes him work. Look it up..."Bob Dylan sold soul to satan".
Dee-1 stood on his square against Rick Ross and his stans and glad to see him standing on his square here As others have said, Turk doesn't wanna ruffle feathers
Well, the warning has been sounded off. David is actually feeding the people with that everlasting water. Not just materialistic items that will perish.
Turk trying not to judge but I will say todays time and the influence on our kids man we gotta stand up against tht devil Mann so if tht means to say Wht need to be said then say it if your platform is large enough to be heard so yea turk gotta tell the truth it’s not hating 🤷🏿♂️
The thing that Dee-1 needs to understand is that everybody’s on gods time and are apart of gods plan. You don’t know what gods plan is for Ross, Jones or Meek. He may be preparing them for the next step.
Turk just let it go Dee 1 knows what he’s talking about and not afraid to REALLY stand on business this just showing who is serving 2 masters that’s all
Dee1 right because as a 32 year old now I realized I had to grow up & separate the music from real life.. I love the old wayne, b.g , juvenile etc but long as they energy pure & for the community I can mess with them today..
Lauren hill not making another album is her fault respectfully. How could anyone stop anyone from creating something?🤔 if she truly love the music no one can stop her from working with producers and creating the next classic album. Quit depending on others Lauren and get back in that booth and create that heat that we know u have.
I’m signed to the engineer that worked on Lauryn Hills album.. it’s a rock band.. I’m a drummer, the stories I’ve heard about the sessions during that album… sheesh
It ain't about the money, labels already have money. It's about control. Just told u Lauren hill album sold plenty of copies & was told NO more positive albums. They putting out menstrual show music. They're just seeing what all will u do for bread! WAKE UP!
Leave Turk off next time you have a intellectual conversation. At his age with that mindset he either riding the fence or all that growth talk is just talk
