Randy Rhoads tat guy was ylthe real macoy when you think "" RockStar'" his body ripppin it up and his face usually looked bored like he was looking for a girl in the audience
That's what being a musician is all about. This wasn't no car-eye-oh-kee or jam, lol. However, to your point, it was a great performance. Not one player diminished nor outshone the others. It was fucking fantastic, pardon my French.
the guy loved his mother man it's her who instilled that theory in him by making him take piano some to learn music theory... the whole family is awesome dude Long Live Randy Rhoads
@@guitarlessons205 , His Mom had a music school in Burbank, CA where I grew up. The Rhoads kids grew up in Burbank, too. Randy, his brother, Kelly and his sister, Kathy all worked and/ or taught music at their Mom's school. He was one of the founding members of "Quiet Riot" until he left to join Ozzy. He always said that the plan was to go to college to study Classical Guitar. He said that he wasn't planning on staying with Ozzy forever. He was able to build on his "Fame", when he left "Quiet Riot" for Ozzy, but he was born with his gift.
Jerry Kim Gomez yes that was the acoustic tribute to her. His mom and family were very musical and he had a supportive upbringing! So beautiful to listen too! And tears still flow for Randy😢
Hey man, Randy was the best! If you were alive today he would put Jimi, Eddie Eddie and Yngwie to shame! Above all this talent, he had personality. All the other grades were set in their modes and played the same way all the time. To quote David Lee Roth, "Eddie played the same solo for 8 years". I noticed the same thing about Yngwie. But if you find some off the cuff recordings that Randy made just messing around between takes, he did every riff from a comedy show takeoff to a coffee commercial. That's how in tune he was with the culture that he lived in.
I learned to play that song from vinyl back in 1980. Thirty-five years later, guitarists still play it. What a testament to Randy's writing. If he were alive, he would be THE standard all other players are gauged against.
I was grounded and missed his last show in San Diego Jan 4, '82. My best friend Walter went so I got to relive it vicariously through him. Cried with the rest of the rock world March 19th. RIP Randy! Can't play Dee anymore cuz arthritis sucks but still love to listen to those who can. This was amazing for so many to play at once. What a tribute!
I played this song on the tape recorder for my music class at Lake Highland. All my classmates were too involved with the surf punk and progressive music... I was kinda scared to play this as I thought people might make fun of me... but not so!!!! I was about 16. Since then D's have followed me.... Grateful. Bless D.D. Palmer as my name Tamara means palm tree. Blessed!!! Miss Randy!!!
EPIC!!!! Randy Rhoads is still consider one of the most talented guitarest ever, that my friends speaks volumes. To this day i still listen to those first two Ozzy solo albums, cannot say that about any other artist, its really not about Ozzy, its all because Randy was an amazing composer, there will never be an equal, not now not ever IMO. RIP Randy love u forever.
Yet aGain the tears flow. On the 40th anniversary of Blizzard of Ozz there’s so much stuff Ozzy has been putting out and inevitably Randy comes up and into the documentary recently. In fact I think I’ve seen such another resurgence in his popularity his videos and a new crop of younger guitarists learning of him. I can’t stop the tears every time I see or hear him over and over. Always the best, the cream of the crop! No one can or will ever top him😢🎸💔

Very nice gentlemen. Very Nice. I had the pleasure and misfortune of seeing Randy Rhoads live in Houston just a few months before he passed away. His passing impacted me greatly then and the loss of his life is still sad to me today. What an incredible talent and kind heart he was and it's a tribute that all these years later people like yourselves pay tribute to him and his memory. Thank you!
Incredibly amazing 🥲 What a priceless present they are giving us with their talent. Sure RR eyes are in tears of joy happyness and gratefullness from where he is undeniably watching all. This is glorious and a great way to get up on a Monday. BTW, big hello and kudos to Joel Hoesktra, from the backup guitar guy (that was never needed) on Broadway for Rock of Ages. Joel is a genuinely good guy and one of the most gifted guitar players I've even met or seen.
So to me Carvin one of the best guitars in the world plus Fender guitars.. mean car fender bender.. Thank you to my two patients whose nlast name is Bender. I helped so many people from their acceleration/decelaration injuries. Chiropractic works !!! Guitars Guitars, plus TAMA drums!
