Too funny. We just camped there two weeks ago. Tons of fish jumping and we watched an osprey scoop a couple in the evening. Lots of bats at dusk as well. Lake is 🥶🥶

That's awesome. The last few kms of the hike were pretty tough! Did you continue on to the Howe Sound Crest Trail or just Deeks?

just Deeks for the night and back. That is a slog with 35-40lb packs. water felt good though.@@thomaslawson177

Where do you star the hike?And another questions is was there lots of trout in the lake?

Hey, we followed the directions from All trails: www.alltrails.com/trail/canada/british-columbia/deeks-lake. You can park at the Porteau Cove Road Lookout- google maps should pull that up! There were definitely fish in the lake, we just couldn't land any on shore. :)
