I have this neat little brush I keep by my PC. It has a fluffy side for dusting and then a standard stiff bristle, non-scratching side. Run the bristles along the inside edges of screen, then use the fluffy side to dust. Then grab a microfiber towel with water only, wipe away. It's okay to "scrub" gently with the towel to remove stuck on bits. Takes less than 2 minutes. Don't buy special wipes or sprays, you're literally spending money on something that offers absolutely nothing in return.

@@sabrinaester5264 I don't think all pets shed. Just Pets with like an undercoat, it keeps them in the winter warm. My dog as an example doesn't shed. He is an Chinese hairless poodle mix. No hair, no stink just a cute little doggo :)

Things to note: First the amount of diferente shots and angles that you film si awesome, i know that that takes time and effort, we appreciate!. Second thanks a lot for those shots of the front of the car while you are pressure washing (i looooove pressure washing, an unhealthy amount jajaja). @@Devolante look in your local newspaper, find used tools on the cheap. Have your parents go on Craigslist for you and find used tools that way too, sometimes you can find stuff for free. Start with what you can do, keep prices low, do extra good so the customer thinks you went the extra mile, and as your ability to do more grows, slowly raise your prices

Geoff Fikar it is a bissell but it’s not the same one he has, it’s a Little Green Proheat Pet deluxe carpet cleaner. Not a very large selection with this virus going around but I tested it on a spot on my couch and I’m ALREADY impressed!

@@claireengh665 Good. I have the one he has, and detailed a 13 year old truck that had never been cleaned, now its for sale. There was at least two inches of cut grass throughout the interior. It's giving me a run for my money, but the extractor is doing a great job.

Dont feel bad.. Im a detailer. Not a yanky detailer, they seem to call everyone a detailer or a pro, even if they just wash and vaccum, 'Its been detailed' My 2004 work van and only transport. Its been cleaned 3 times since Ive owned it. Ive owned it for 10 years! I have stuff growing in the carpets, fortunately my customers understand that my vehicle doesnt represent the quality of my work. Mericans wouldnt understand any part of that.

Honestly, detailing isn't THAT important. I only drive used cars. When i get one, i do a full detail, to get it nice and clean...everything else past that is just light maintenance cleaning. See, the key is to not be a slob, and not abuse your ride. Now, if you're talking about a work truck, that's a totally different thing.. Work trucks get dirty as hell, just by existing. However, a little care, and again, not being a slob, can minimize the damage.

I am enjoying your videos much more than I expected. My favorite part is when you do the “glamour” shot at the end and you slowly pan over the upholstery. Seeing it go from dirty and flat to clean and textured gets me every time.

Thank you from the bottom of my dog grooming heart - the link to the Lilly brush might save my life. My truck is constantly full of dog hair both from my own dog and the hair that's stuck to me when I finish work. I'll have to tell some of my customers, too! Was using a rubber curry brush but was too long to be effective on cloth seats. This looks like the perfect solution.

Detailing is a very good profession. It will be slow starting out. I suggest gettibg yout family to scout out some other detailing businesses to see what they do and dont do.
