This room, is the type of room, where you feel so comfortable. Messy or not, this is so comforting.

it’s so oddly comforting to see people on social media speak openly about mental healthy struggles, it makes us (or at least me) feel less alone. also can we take a moment to appreciate this INSANELY GOOD QUALITY???

Tip - you have a lot of space above each stack of books so just lift your shelves a few notches higher in each row and you might get yourself a new shelf row at the bottom.

I'm always super embarrassed about my room because depression doesn't go well with cleaning my room and a lot of people don't understand that. im glad people like you share videos like that, makes me feel a little less embarrassed 🖤

I think your room is the size of my entire apartment haha… but honestly I hope you know how many people you will have helped by posting this. Every time someone opens up about their mental health struggles, another person learns that it’s ok to talk about stuff. And it’s such a comfort to see, not only that it’s normal to have trouble keeping your space tidy when you’re going through a rough patch, but also that it can be put right! Hope you’re feeling better soon, and that having your room nice and clean again helps with that!

honestly she is so real, on social media people show their productive side and good sides of life and are fake but she’s so real because no one’s life if perfect and sometimes we have the stages of not feeling good and your mental health is bad so it’s good to see someone on social media not being fake for once I respect that I lot ❤

Don’t ever feel guilty for not cleaning your room, we all have different things to work with in our lives, and sometimes people just go through hard times and that is how life works, it’s totally normal to have those sort of moments, so don’t ever feel guilty, and remember you aren’t alone! :)

Thanks for posting this! As someone who has severe depression, among other diagnoses, keeping things clean is an ongoing battle. Mess makes me stressed af, but the thought of cleaning is also stressful and exhausting.

It is really helping me watching your videos about your mental health because I too struggle with cleaning my room and stuff because of my mental health. I last cleaned it for my birthday in late October but it really has been a mess since then again. But when I cleaned it for my birthday I was so proud because I started decorating it more which I was also delaying since July when we renovated my room so it truly felt like my room then. So thank you for sharing also the struggles it really makes me feel less alone

idk if this goes against your ideal ✨bookshelf aesthetic✨ but i stack my extra books that don't fit on my shelf on top the books that do fit (spines facing out usually, but if you like the look of it you could have the pages facing outwards too for a "messier" look). at other places i just have single books facing out (it does cover the spines of others but i don't really mind) to show off pretty bookcovers! my shelf aesthetic is messier and cluttered but that's what i like :) i feel like it makes it look homey and cozy. i LOVE your window shelves and all the natural lighting you have - so gorgeous!!!! great vid as always, and i hope cleaning helps you feel better❤

Oh I can definitely relate! Also for some reason there's nothing I hate more than vacuuming. It doesn't even take long but I hate the thought of vacuuming my carpet. Even though it's usually fine once I started. Anyway, don't feel guilty, I honestly like that people are starting to normalize talking about struggles.
