I love scrub daddies so much and I have found instead of getting a new one I just put it in the dishwasher and It’s as clean as it comes when you get a new one

Peanut butter is the best mouse bait. They have to stay on the trap for a longer time to eat it and more likely to set it off. 😊

I'd try contacting your apartment complex to check when they last did pest control! Most apartments charge a monthly fee for it so hopefully they'll spray the entryways to your apartment! Mice also don't like the smell of peppermint so you can fill holes with steel wool & cotton balls with peppermint oil. Hopefully you get rid of them soon!!

Cleaning videos are so relaxing. Also I've had mice and rat problems before. Best advice for the traps would be to use peanut butter on the trap so they can't just grab it and run off. Hopefully your apartment will help with the situation. Best of luck.

Peppermint oil did wonders at my house for mice. We had a big problem because we have four outdoor/indoor cats who come in and out through our dog door. If it happens again definitely consider peppermint oil or extract or melting a peppermint candle under furniture.

Mice HATE peppermint oil!! Fill up a spray bottle with water and peppermint oil and spray your apartment, especially along the baseboards where they typically tend to run!

not trying to come across mean and glad u got the mice out but being clean also helps avoid the mice like cleaning pans and dishes right after using them, tht attracts bugs and more

You need to find the holes they are coming through. Put some brillos in them then patch them up. Do your dishes and take out the trash every night. Make it so they can't find anything to eat.

You might want to try glue traps. Put them where the dogs can't get them though as they are a serious pain to get off and clean off. But that was how we dealt with our mice and rat problem.

Please be super careful vacuuming up droppings!! Spray them with water or cleaner first and wipe them up And clean after however you please! ❤️❤️

I found decluttering my space and removing all food/water sources by moving everything up high and sealing everything into containers. Also you can get a spray that will disrupt their trails. And Steel wool is pretty much the only thing they can’t chew through - tinfoil won’t work. Your landlord should be responsible for getting a person in to get them all

With the mouse traps you need something sticky (like peanut butter) & the bait on top. I’m no exterminator. However, I worked a job slightly similar when i was in the AirForce-Public Health. Learned some tricks along the way. Lol 😂 ❤

i had the same mouse problem, with the same traps always being constantly cleaned of bait with no mouse! i found one on amazon that is infrared and shocks them instead of snapping so it’s movement instead of weight and we’ve had much better luck!

Literally having the same issue except mines with cockroaches! No matter what I do I can’t seem to get rid of them. I also feel like your apartments need to take some responsibility I mean you’re paying them I’m sure a lot of money to live there you’d think they’d do something!

Get a cat, one that knows how to hunt. That always helped me when I had mice. Hope it all works out though!

I'm little late😅 but the mice doesn't fall in the trap because they smell your hands on the food and they know it's trap (I have dealt with one at my house) try wearing gloves while setting them up and if you can find the trap with glue on it, it works so good.

i’m also dealing with mice right now! 😭 we discovered that they had gotten into one of our couches and HAD BABIES??? so we took the couch outside into the garage and cut the bottom out to get them all out. we left that couch out on the garage, but we heard them in our other couch last night 🥲

I’m so glad u got rid of your mice problem we hope. I will not touch a mouse trap r look at one r a mouse. They are my frightening terror. My husband use to deal with that and if he would find a dead one he would chase me around the house I would be screaming and crying. Finally he would stop. So far knock on wood I have not had the mice problem since my husband passed in 2015. Last year I had to go thru small snakes in the basement thank God for a large dust pan, broom and bucket. The finished work looks great.

Oh my goodness mice are the worst, my family lived in an 100+ year old farm house for the longest time that was right next to our neighbors horse barn. They were terrible in the winter especially and in rainy season because they want in our house from the cold. Thankfully traps and our house cat and dog kept them at bay
