We venture down to the Deep Creek National Park for a day’s outing. Travelling via the Myponga Reservoir and Carrickalinga before reaching the National Park. It wasn’t on our travel itinerary, but we return home after visiting the Smiling Samoyed Brewery.

Nice Mick, been camping there on and off for over 35 years, a great national park close to Adelaide. Recently took our 20 foot van into Trigg Campground with no issues.
@justcruisinwithmicksally837
We too may get to camp there with our van one day. It strikes us a being a good location no mater what time of the year that you visit.👍

A lovely looking place. Id just been wondering where the blow holes were when you commented on the same thing 🙂 cheers Cheryl 😉

No worries, it had to have got it's name for a reason one would think.

Stunning drive through the there Deep Creek is fantastic on a nice day. Absolutly had no idea that waterfall was there and I've lived South of Adel all my life so glad you found it. Great video once again. Cheers.
@justcruisinwithmicksally837
Thank you, glad you liked it. Perhaps there are enough people going to see the waterfall that the S.A. Tourism feel that there is no need to promote it🤫🤫

A very beautiful park, I love the four wheel access because what's the point in having one if you can't use it? LOL! Thanks for sharing!

A great area and we will be camping at Stringybark campground in a few weeks. Great campground with top facilities but it seems they've bumped the prices since we were there last year. 50 bucks a night now for most of the campsites. I used to go fishing at Blowhole creek when I was much younger and we had to walk down from the top as the track was much worse back then. Thankfully we never caught much or it would have been a tough walk out. Last time we were there we picked up a couple of fisherman and carted them out as they had walked in. I'm guessing that the freshwater was the creek the area is named after. I love Rapid Bay down there as well and I find the empty mining houses there along with the other old buildings quite fascinating. A family member from Victoria will be coming over in Autumn next year, hopefully, and we intend to spend a week or so all around the area and may do the boat tour from Goolwa as well. Thanks for the video and hopefully that weather holds out for us.
@justcruisinwithmicksally837
It isn't cheap to camp in the Deep Creek National Park, that is for sure. Blowhole Beach would have to be one of the few locations that you would hope that you don't catch too many fish if you walked in. Hope your family member enjoys their time there should you manage to take them there.👍

What a lovely day out you had!! The weather was perfect & the places beautiful. It certainly would be nice to have it closer to home!! Looking forward to trying the pizza lunch next time you visit!! I wonder if they cater for gluten free! 🤣 I was actually eating my tea whilst watching the video & pizza sounded nicer than what I was consuming!
@justcruisinwithmicksally837
As soon as we were near the brewery as we walked towards it we started to smell the pizza ovens, made us want one straight away.

Hi Mick, the blowhole is in the side of the cliff face. Not down near the water.

Thanks Neil, makes sense. 👍

Excellent video. Its an area we havent been to or know anything about other than the impossible for our truck road. Cycling down wouldnt be much fun either, getting back up would give us and the batteries a work out. Thanks mate
@justcruisinwithmicksally837
It wasn't our intention to film the area but it just looked too nice not to, glad you liked it. If you ever go that way and do decide to take the bikes, let me know. We might come down and film part two😄😄

What are the 2 antennas on the roo bar, Guessing UHF & Phone? Good to see them well spread apart anyway, the way it should be, you can tell the people who go to a stereo installer, no idea about transmitting antennas needing a decent space between them :-)
@justcruisinwithmicksally837
We monitor two UHF radio channels when towing the caravan. When I fitted a roof console and new upgraded UHF to the console Sally suggested leaving the old set in the vehicle to monitor one channel while the new set would monitor the other making life a little easier. As we already had the original set fitted out of sight, we left it there and now run two sets at the same time. It has come in very handy at times but something that we would never set out to have two set fitted.

What a lovely video Mick, great scenery. Nice weather always a bonus. How far would it be from blowhole beach to Kangaroo Island as the crow flies. The rock formation looks similar to basalt rock. Interesting.
@justcruisinwithmicksally837
It is approximately 14 kilometres across to the Island.

Would a Subaru Forrestor all wheel drive handle this ok?
@justcruisinwithmicksally837

I would think that you may have trouble with ground clearance as the track is fairly well washed out and rocky.
