Deep FE12 Draft Race Analysis! 

On staff users: I'd actually argue that Wendell is the best staff user, because Yuliya doesn't come "for free" - you can complete chapter 4 much faster if you throw Yuliya into a pile of enemies and Rescue Marth. Wendell comes totally for free and is only 8 staff uses away from C as a bishop, which you will get naturally playing through Anri's Way. He might even naturally get to B for Again. I'd also give Malicia the slight edge over Yuliya, because recruiting Malicia is a short detour in chapter 1 without any extra combat. Hammerne is almost definitely not worth it, though. I definitely think that Physic and Again were overvalued. I personally only went for the chapter 10 Physic and didn't use it more than a couple of times in the whole run. My reasoning was that healing is slow and chugging Vulneraries was better. Staffing is slower than using Vulneraries because it causes the EXP bar to increase and costs time when the healer levels up. Again is neat, but its use in chapter 20 was only brought about by not reclassing your Hardin killer to a setup that could 2RKO him. If you aren't doing multiple refreshes in 1 turn, you can replicate the Again effect by warping Phina. Of all of the racers, I think I was the only one who bothered to recruit Minerva, funnily enough. I suppose if I actually drafted a carry, I wouldn't need her Dragonpike to kill chapter 11 wyverns.

The fact that DonDon was an hour ahead with only free units just shows how good he is at FE.

The only thing to analyse here is how dondon beat them using less units

dondon, the sensei, came first with only free units, and mekkah, his pupil, came second while playing normally with drafted units. they both finished around 6 hours before the other two. idk about y'all, but i find this too beautiful. it really shows the skill dondon and mekkah are known for.

I'd be interested in an analysis of the race itself, although it could be potentially interesting as a scripted or at the very least edited playthrough since not every move was important and I imagine there'll be a lot of dead air in a 4 hours run.

One thing I'd love to see you cover would be how do you plan chapters out? I really wanted to learn how to do it
