Deep Lake is a sinkhole in Big Cypress National Preserve. We hiked an easy half-mile and we saw a lot of wildlife! There were a lot of gators, herons, egrets, and even an osprey was circling above for a bit!
It was not a long trail at all. From the trailhead in front of the fire station, it took us only about 20 minutes to arrive at the lake and it did not take more than 20 minutes to go around the lake.
