You have to be an expert in pedagogy (the method and practice of teaching) to objectively prove what you said is correct :) Subjects might seem unnecessary, but you are missing the big picture. I interviewed many professionals from different backgrounds and none of them did a Degree in DS and ML. Thanks for your opinion though.

​@@IQLabs what big picture of AI ML you can see when you did a Electronic or physics degree. i have an electronic bachelor's degree (+SE bsc) and MSc in cs specializing in AI. 90% of the electronic stuff i learned during my bachelor's are useless. The things i learned during my SE degree and SE job are really useful. And you don't need a pedagogy degree to say about the industry. 90% of students who are studying technical subjects focus on the industry, not academia. What industry experience do you have in AI ML DS to advise on that? From 5 years + SE & ML work experience, I can say most of the graduates out from the universities do not have the proper skills to work in the industry. (Anyone in the industry says that) That is because of these attitudes of academia like you. (missing the big picture bla bla and teaching unnecessary & unrelated things)

I don't know malli. I did go for for tuition and I did benefit from it. I can only speak for myself.

Best thing would be to start your own project and build on it.
