Helianthia, goddess of farming. Backstory: Pearl of Gilded Helianthia died during the first season, but had done many good things like finding a cure for the corruption, (otherwise known as Xornoth’s plague) and was declared a saint and a goddess by King Soosage of Mythland, who sat with her on her deathbed as the plague she had worked so hard to stop ate away at her life force and withered her body. King Soosage buried her under the ruins of her burnt home, placing a tombstone reading, ‘Queen St. Pearl of Gilded Helianthia, Goddess of farming, animals, and arena sports’. eventually the ‘Pearl of’ part wore away leaving people to assume her name was Helianthia, like the mythical kingdom the from stories that were told hundreds of thousands of years later.

IDEA! If Joel goes to war with the whole server, he NEEDS to make a "God of War" skin for himself when he finally snaps!

This is how I interpret the lore in this video: -The fact that all the gods are dead is something we already knew. From the story or Eor (is that how it is spelled) and Exor we knew the gods all went dormant originally defeating the corruption before Exor went evil. Joel just believes they all died -The gods seem to be coming back in waves: The first wave was Eor and Exor whose domains were limited more to Rivendell (Pre-Season 1). The second wave was the Ocean Queen and the Codfather, I do not know exactly if they are canonically gods so you can count them only if you want (during season 1). Their domains were limited to the sea. -The current wave is Pearl and Joel, they both seem to have sky domains (with Joel ruling Stratos and Pearl up in heaven). Whether or not you actually consider Joel a god this is quite interesting to consider -One running theme among these is siblings, Eor and Exor are siblings, Lizzie and Jimmy were siblings, so is it possible that the God Joel and Pearl are canonically siblings in someway? This could explain why Pearl has the first (and quite possibly biggest) temple -Most of the gods do seem to believe they (or their wave of gods) are the only gods to survive. -It is also quite interesting that most gods have some sort of 'host'. Eor and Exor had their horned Champions (Scott and Xornoth), Lizzie and Joel both had moments where some external force transformed them into gods, Pearl died to ascend to heaven (perhaps implying Gilded Helenthia was designed to regenerate the god Pearl within the human Pearl which could explain why the human Pearl was destroyed with her empire if the entire thing was set up to regenerate a dead god), and Jimmy I am not sure about

Pearlesent the god of farming, Grianos the god of mischief, Aor the god of light, Exor the god of corroption/dark. Lizia the god of the ocean, Katrina the god of flowers, Jimithy the god of lakes and rivers are some ideas for gods. I like to think when the S1 players all died the became gods.

I think it would suit really nice the name of the Greek goddess "Demeter" (Dimitra). She was the goddess of farming etc. It also fits your empire theme too.

I seem to recall a god name: "Grianos the God of Mischief"

Other gods: I mean I'm just saying, Pearl's character would fit wonderfully (I'm pretty sure she's a god?)- Sausage has this whole lore with her right now and could you imagine he comes to drop off Hermes and sees a temple dedicated to her?

He's clearly hinting at Pearl being a dead goddess, c'mon guys

I know Joel is technically the god of lore, but I think he should be the god of the skies as he has an elytra (none of the other gods had elytra, okay?) and it’s Joel’s magic that makes all the islands float. Also for other gods, a god of minerals and mining could be cool and I think you could do something fun with the build.

tying in with sausage’s lore, you could have the farming god be Pearl. and since his lore is now consisting of flashbacks from season 1, fish goddess lizzie can be the water god

For the name for the god of farming, I feel like Hapekiou (hap-ek-u). But the fellow gods would call him Kiou (k-u). It’s a little weird but I think it’s cute. I think all the other god should be like the god or goddess of love and of sleep and things like that. I think it would be cool to have the shrines be like slightly rundown in a way like they are falling apart because there haven’t been gods there in a long time besides (totally tall and strong and funny and amazing) Joel and Joel is trying to keep the temples in good shape but when (most likely) A war breaks out he can’t keep them upkeeped so then they get destroyed in some way. This I think would be a very interesting storyline and i think it would be very entertaining to watch! I love you Joel!

Congrats on defeating the warden! Zooming back and forth was a good idea. The new build reminds me of the hanging air temples from Avatar:TLA =)

I think the gods should be the season one characters, but Joel has just forgotten and is the only survivor of... Something? but it damaged his memory, and now everyone else is reincarnated as mortals!!! (Also, Perl should be the harvest goddess!)

The obvious choice for farming is the Goddess Pearl. In Lore, it's been 1,000 years since she passed, and a bit less since she became a Saint. Elevation to deity status would be fitting. As for other choices, a cat Goddess for the wilderness seems appropriate. Perhaps a heavily muscled God, with green skin and pointy ears, to rule the hidden and dark places? Maybe even a Trickster God, who looks like a marionette or Jack-in-the-box, and is the creator of pranks and toys. Of course, we also need a temple for Donkey Jeremy, God of farm animals. I could give more, but you'd be building temples for at least a decade. 🤠👍

Here’s a couple names that mean Pearl, as a little nod to her: Dara - Hebrew, Slavic or Irish in origin Meret - German in origin Etta - Greek in origin

The god of farming should be named Pearl! Like pearl in the last season, it'd be a cool way to remind her in this one too :D

If you want to feed all the fan theories, you can make temples that references previous smps you have been part of or even just the previous empires... blue axolotl goddess/sea goddess, the sunflower goddess, something with red, yellow and green for 3rd life/last life...

Adding the god of Rivendell from S1 would be bring back some memories also help with Sausage confusing lore!

Honestly the idea’s are so cool A name: Dawn (just based off the colour scheme’s) maybe she died during a fire on their farms? You could add Ocean: God of Fish - Blue Colour Scheme - His fish turned against him Lizzie - Queen of Animals - You can pick for that. I think it’s cool idea’s like you discover hints to your past & you find out who you truly are at the end? *Does Anyone Else Have Ideas?*

Bacchus, the Roman God of agriculture, unfortunately was killed after being poisoned by his own plants after getting the seeds from a prince who’s empire got taken over by Rome. You could do a bulk of wheat with a trident stuck into it for decoration. You could also do lots of sweet berries spread across the temple

Since this is largely inspired by Greek Gods, Triptolemos is the Greek god of farming, and worked under Demeter, the Greek goddess of agriculture. There are other nature gods including Pan (wild), Antheia (flowers), Persephone (spring time), and Gaia (the embodiment of the earth). Although, the rest aren't really relevant to faming like Triptolemos and Demeter. Maybe Triptoleter? As for ideas surrounding other gods, perhaps a god of the seas, a god of learning, a god of crafting/smithing, a god of justice/law and a god of death? Although justice and law could likely be mixed, as well as learning and smithing.

I still think he should name it “The House of Hermès”. It’s a reference to Percy Jackson and there is a designer “house” named “The House of Hermes” (House of Gucci).

I love how Pearl is still a part of Empires season 2! Her temple really fits in and the colors are great!!

I think there should be an old temple in honour of the Phantoms. The followers of that mob are long dead and gone and no one remembers why they were chosen in the first place. 😂

The farming god has Dawn colors, and farming is something that Gem's empire does. It would be pretty cool to base a few gods around other empires and ask them about putting them into the lore to. I.e. a mining god for fWhip and maybe False and Pix too, or the deity Pix built. A god of the forest/animals for Lizzie and Sausage. Things like that would be really cool! Plus colabs are fun

I think if you want a cool name for your agriculture god then I think Hazel sounds like a really natural name you could have for that :)

Maybe joel could make a god/temple for each tool in Minecraft. For Examplae a god of war for the sword [could be some lore there ;), like a war between the gods or something], A god of the earth for the shovel, a god of ore for the pickaxe, etc. And joel could be the god of the sky for the Elytra (who destroyed the other gods for peace of his loving subjects, and because of his immense sexyness).

I would go with Perl for the god of harvest as she could be known to the mortal realm ‘Helianthia’ or she could be known as ‘Demeter’ to the gods, it would make sense to include Pearl to Stratos since she became a god, and she would be an Aunty to Hermes as well I think that what makes sense in my opinion so hopefully we see this in your build, I would love to see references to Lizzie when she was god of the sea and maybe Grian as a god of mischief.

You could make the god of farming Pearl (from season 1) to tie in with sausages lore. Doesn’t really match the colour scheme tho. You could also make a separate temple to Pearl instead, perhaps?

I saw you on some of the afterlife or double life, whatever they were all called and I did like what I saw of you from watching the hermits I knew, and when the crossover happened I knew that I needed to watch you first, all of the Empires SMP seem interesting and creative but for me, I just really enjoy your videos, and this build is just so impressive!! I absolutely love this style of floating islands, and you are soo tall and strong and handsome :p

Demeter is the goddess of farming Joel. she is my favourite goddess. and it would be an honour if you named the farming god after her

You should name the farming God "Lator frugum" which means "bringer of crops" or "Lator" for short!

For future Gods, you could add three original Gods each of the Sun, Stars, and Moon partially based off of each winner of the Life seasons thus far. You would have Third Life Grain for the Sun, Last Life Scot for the Stars, and Double Life Pearl for the Moon

I don’t know if this would mess with Sausage’s lore but the goddess of harvest sounds like Pearls character from last season. I know Sausage has been have it visions and found a statue of Pearl, so I feel like her being a goddess would tie into the story pretty well.

Demeter was the God of agriculture in Greek mythology so ti make a spin off of him you could call him threemeters. Because it's 3 meters and somewhat sound like Demeters.

For the God of Farming, I think Agricolós would be cool, as it's Latin for fields/farming. Other God ideas would be Aquinas for the ocean? It would be cool to have different gods for the different empires, like Lizzie's and Fwip's. Also, the pic with Hermes it really cute :D

ήλιος (Greek for sun) might be good, and it ties in with helping the farms and Gem's lore of Dawn

You should make a temple for the goddess of moss and greenery who was the tallest (15 foot tall) and was also the ruler of all the gods. But she died and left the throne to the youngest and the lone surviving god, that is, you!
