The faces are scary and he's worried and uncomfortable seeing them. Then Jenna comes along and "knocks sense into him" and the faces become normal after. To me that says without her love and tough love (obvs not physically like it's portrayed in the video) he wouldn't have changed his outlook. I've got Bipolar and sometimes when I'm really bad I see faces exactly like that, but with someone looking out for me and giving me support and a fim hand when I need it I haven't had visual disturbances in almost 8 months. Probably why I see that meaning from the video

oh yay Tear In My Heart is one of my favorites!! Twenty One Pilots’ first love song, and even then its a very unconventional love song. The blonde lady is Tyler’s wife, Jenna! You guys guessed the meaning of the song pretty well - it’s all about how love is difficult and painful, but that’s what makes it beautiful and worth it. And also about how Jenna has helped Tyler to conquer his insecurities and depression (Blurryface). He really loves her. He’s written one other song about her, it’s called Smithereens and it’s the only other tøp love song. You should give it a listen as well!

When Jenna is beating the crap out of him in this video, it's actually a representation of her beating up blurryface which obviously is his alter-ego that symbolizes his insecurities. That's why she beats the crap out of him, and then at the end she kisses him. I love them! And I love that you guys are covering Twenty One Pilots music videos. Y'all have definitely grown a lot in figuring out the meaning to the songs and their lyrics. I'm proud of you guys. Y'all have come a long way! I have a theory that Jenna (the girl in the video and Tyler's wife) is the "Jumpsuit" Tyler is singing to in Trench. In this music video, we see the eyes of the strangers around him grow large and distorted, representing the fear he has of judgment from other people. The only eyes that didn't grow were Jenna's, which is why he looked so confused/intrigued by her and followed her into the restaurant. He discovers, she's the only one who he isn't afraid of and who won't judge him. Once he speaks to her, she realizes she's talking to blurryface (which is why he was so insecure throughout the video), so she beats him up to protect Tyler. Once he's out, the strangers' eyes are all normal again, showing that Jenna helped him see the real world and not live in his insecurities. In Jumpsuit, we hear Tyler say "I can't believe how much I hate pressures of a new place...jumpsuit, cover me." So he's afraid of new places (they're in an unfamiliar area - looks like Chinatown or something) with new people (the strangers), because he's unsure how they'll react to/judge him. So he calls upon his Jumpsuit to protect him from his fear. The next line is similar and says "I crumble underneath the weight, pressures of a new place roll my way...jumpsuit, cover me." In the TIMH video, the buildings around him begin to break apart and crumble because of his stress and insecurity until he sees Jenna. Then finally, in Jumpsuit, Tyler says "I'll be right there, but you'll have to grab my throat and lift me in the air." This is Tyler telling his Jumpsuit that he can only be himself if blurryface is out of the way; and how did Jenna get blurryface out of Tyler? By lifting him up by the throat and then beating the crap out of him lol. This might just all be in my mind, but it sounds good to me!

Fun Fact: the blonde girl in the video, her name is Jenna (she is amazing and extremely sweet), but she is Tyler's actual wife and they just had a beautiful daughter named Rosie, she's gorgeous
