As a driller main, I can confidently say I've never gotten lost on my way to the drop pod. It's hard to get lost when you're going in a straight line. Also, rocks are pretty tasty.

I use the zipline to set up: quicker escapes to the drop pod (go up to the top of the map since pod only lands away from you), or mobile turret platforms in large rooms. (you ARE the turret)

if you press "c" in any mission that has Molly in it, your dwarf drops the summoning beacon and badmouths Molly. If you're in a mission without Molly, however, its a different story. Really showcases the "it'd be harder without it" aspect of technological conveniences. Side note, with practice you CAN ride Molly up the wall. The real betrayal comes along when your trip down the tunnels is so nonsensical that Molly decides the best path back to the pod is to clip straight through an unbroken wall of dirt.

10:10 actually bosco comes on any mission where you are alone, as long as you've enabled him. That means if you start a public or friend game with no one in your lobby, you'll have bosco until someone joins

If the failure animations are anything to go by BOSCO units do come with you in multiplayer they are just left in the drop pod to drag your unconscious bodies back in the event of TPK

Well it's not that pricy, it goes on every sale imaginable so you can grab it at half price more times than at full. While it has DLCs they are purely cosmetic that amount only to like 5-15% of overall cosmetics that you can obtain.

Zipline is for avoiding damage high in the air, transporting teamates over large gaps top spendy for the engi, up cliffs that are too spendy for engi and driller, or helping transport large minerals to imobile rigs. Yes, utility, certainly not fast for sure.

12:28 this one hits deep 😂. On my first mission, there was a meteorite strike that happened as I was completing the objective. Then when I was going to the extraction zone by following Molly, she proceeds to walk vertically upwards where the meteorite strike landed and become officially loss for 2 minutes

increased accuracy on t1 and no bullet spread on movement on t5, i have a high powered 700 nitra express revolver. one shots those pesky mactera up to the grundles. all i have to do is wait for them to stop moving to land a killing blow(cuz just because my revi can one-shot and has nats-ass accuracy dont mean i can hit macteras' jittery movement).

@@TK-7193 I like to do all of that and either go for more ammo and six shooter overclock or max out damage and use elephant rounds. One for spam against those pesky macteras and the other to get as much long range firepower as a scout's m1000.

I learned Bosco can carry stuff and will *mine out eggs for you in the egg finding mission* by complete accident, By missing my marker telling bosco to go mine something and turning around thinking he was mining the thing I failed to tell him to, only for Bosco to fly in front of my face 5 seconds later carrying an egg. He completely trivializes the egg missions and I love it. I haven't tried doing that with him for buried resources like the green crystals and pearls, or the blue mission crystals yet but I have a feeling he probably won't do those ones. As much as I'd love if he did. Edit: I tried, and he can! What a legend!

Pretty much the ONLY thing I've found the zipline to truly shine in is when a swarm is bearing down on you and you have a convenient gap you can shot the line across: Riding out to the middle of the line and turning yourself into a hanging sentry. You'll have to press E every so often but the majority of bugs can't get you if you did it right, and that means that majority is guaranteed dead.

Maybe that has been changed after an update, but in any situation where you are in a cave alone (Be it you are hosting a mission but no one joined yet or everyone left during the mission) Bosco will appear or begin the mission with you. If everyone leaves, bosco will come, if no one came yet, you will start with bosco. I like that they made it this way so that if a person for some reason just leaves, you are less likely to *die* because of that

As a ~550 hour player - love the video! One correction of note, though: The daily special drinks, like Pots o' Gold, due to an early bug that is at this point a feature, are actually applied twice. (Multiplicatively in most cases!) So while the in-game description says it's 100% more gold, i.e., x2 gold, it's actually x4! (This is why when you have it you will hit a gold vein once and be completely full from a vein that would normally give you like 13.)

Gunner’s zipline is good for two main things and that’s about it: getting across big gaps without needing like 18 engineer platforms, and moving heavy things like aquarq or yourself from point A to point B with high differences in elevation. It’s very much a thing to be set up outside of a fight

Whilst yes DRG is made to be played with friends, I prefer going solo with scout because my friends are even more incompetent then me so I go alone to save myself the hassle

@St. Haborym now here is the more fun thing, all randos pulling haz 5 like its a cake walk because everyone JUST knows what they are to do. need to path a pipe in the onsite mission, but a wall is in the way, driller saves ya, need to mind up high but to far out of zipline range or dont want to wast zips for it scout grappling and eng platform. i have been in a 3fer of em i think and enjoed it as it felt good. :P even if as a driller i get confused sometimes in the mines

Gunner is the worst to move around, still the teamate to have around, except for the abality of some to actually suck at being gunner, idk how they do 🤷‍♂️ 999/1000 scout are dumbass except me ! *Proceed to fall to his died* The best class is driller because.. you literally can drill in a cave, what did you have to say ?? The most broken class is ingehere, you always find a way to brake everything with him.

This game is actually Slaps. I love how a bot is the only useful companion joke actually true. Mate, i always carried my friends ass of a mission. But, i will say this to other whos interested in the game. It is absolutely an amazing game and fun to play with friends. You might scream a lot, you might die a lot. But its fun.

Bite homie, constant free updates, no micro transactions except occasional dlc cosmetics, free battle pass (literally free no money is spent to unlock any of it) insane level of progression with multiple layers like beer license, overclocks, gear mods, pickaxe mods, discoverable cosmetics that you hunt for in-mission, prestige levels, deep dives, elite deep dives, and tons of goofy achievements to hunt. I already put in like 400 hours and theres still so much more to do in game no running out of content to unlock.

Also Bosco very useful at tacking down some dangerous enemies if u choose cryo rockets. He can freeze warden for ~5 sec with one rocket, with fast rocket recovery modification this is very fun to play with Bosco
