I once managed to make a death card with zero cost, 6 health, 6 damage, the flying sigil, and the sigil that gives a copy of the card to your hand once it gets played, I wiped the floor with Leshy on multiple occasions because of that card.

Holy crap a Windette Inscryption video. I never thought I'd see the day

Hey Windette. I just recently finished the entriety of Inscryption and I want share a secret that the game doesn't tell you, the "fair hand" mechanic. Basicaly, what it does is that it garantues that when you start a battle you have at least one card you can play - mostly a one blood card. This means that if you didn't have any one blood cards but the Skink, you would have had it you're hand at the start of every round. There is also a guy here on RU-vid called Exxo who has done a video about it. What I'm saying is that is absolutely broken if used right.

7:32 there is one last build not yet mentioned in this video, the terrifying bug deck.

Haven't watched the video yet, all I know is that Windette uploaded and it's an Explained in Insults about Inscryption (one of my favourite games) and I'm going to love every second of it

Inscription especially the beginning is just so perfect at the genre it goes for. And I love how being able to break the game in half makes perfect sense when you understand more about who is keeping you there and why.

i played this game with a friend of mine(and by play i mean i was watching him play and helping him by talking), i still remenber our surprise when the final boss put his last card down

This is a really awesome video, the pacing is amazing and the way you really leaned into the atmosphere of this game felt very tense. I am so glad you ended the video where you did, I really hope it'll lead more people into playing this game. Despite the spoiler warnings you still kept plenty of secrets hidden which I really appreciate. Banger video as always!

When I saw the thumbnail I was jumping with joy because Inscryption is one of my all time favorite games to play

And yet that is but a fraction of the game. Damn do i love its insanity, especially the ending and its lore...

I personally am a fan of wolf stacking. In kaycee's mod I often try to get 4 wolves and combine them and always end up with like a 20/20 beast. I like the magpie too that way I'm guaranteed go actually get the card

fun fact i learned from manlybadasshero's playthrough you can end the whole moon fight in a single turn by just using the adder card, since touch of death still applies to the moon

After I watched the video without the spoiler parts, I decided to give it a try and what I found was getting unkillable totem from the old lady and squirrel head = infinite free sacrifices

"This is not a fair game" yea no shit, i got my first win by making a squirrel totem that gave all my squirrels undying, giving me unlimited sacrifices

finally my addiction has been covered by windette

What I preferred to try and do in my most recent playthrough was to get a Totem that made my squirrels give me an ant when I played. It essentially turned my squirrels into ants and ants have as much attack as there is ants on the field, so it was pretty good imo

Using the animations of the game like moving from hand to field or rolling up the map as transitions IS TOO CLEAN

This game is hilarious, it’s so easy to break it by accident. I was doing a Kaycee’s mod run. Where using the Mushroom guy, fusion stones, a lucky sigil change with the goo painter, and a Geck… I had a 0 cost card that cloned itself every time it was played, couldn’t die, and got stronger every time it lasted at least one turn on the field.

I should get some dental insurance before playing this game

You put your Goat down first, then the Oroborous next, then the Goat down next, then the Oroborous.. again, then the Goat down... again... It's not fair but it's fun

My first win against our boy Leshy was when I got squirrels that spawned ants I never needed to add another card to the deck as every squirrel provided more damage

I really love how you can imagine stupid scenario from card interactions in this game. A gigantic moon which seems to have infinite health gets completely shattered because it hits my deathtouch porcupine

The beauty of Inscryption is that the player is always going to win. If they play long enough there are several mechanics to ensure that they will win and move on.

I wish to see this guy explaining dark souls lore with insults. 2 hours of pure hatred.

Cockroach op. During a Kaycee's mod run, I sacrificed a Corpse Maggot card to the Cockroach, giving it the Corpse Eater sigil which allows it to be played for free if one of the players creatures on the field dies, INCLUDING ITSELF, which combined with it's undying, meant it just got played immediately again when it died. It 1v1ed the Moon when everything else I had died, and continued to 1v1 the moon into starvation, since starvation just makes the Moon do more damage, which doesn't matter in the case of an unkillable instantly played card.

I would love a video on "Forbidden" builds for act 2 and 3 of this game, it would be pretty interesting to see overpowered decks in the other acts of the game

Reviver goats and that self eating serpent make a great team. Also, reviver packrats are great.

8:26 i remeber watching a civ 6 video by potatomcwhiskey where he said basically the same thing about embarked scouts - cheap to produce, and slows enemy ship speed to 1 tile per turn

First time I won, I got the mantis gods sigil on the ouroborus. The damage output on the guy was insane, espacially since it strikes three times

The only card that can help you when the game tries to wall you with the leaping guard grizzly bear wall. That and I saw the “sacrifices must be made” reference in the opening monologue

I LOVE Inscryption definitely one of my favorite indie games to come out in the last couple of years, and with Kaycee's mod making the game have a full on rogue like side mode makes it 30 times better.

Windy you are SUCH a good storyteller! Like your Celeste speedrun a while back, I was on the edge of my seat until the very end! Keep up the awesome work!
