Allowing players to play the previous passes is an incredible move on their part. With so much content being available their player numbers will either soar, remain at a high number consistently or both.

Ultrakill players are gonna have so much fun with the Blood Sugar Anomaly

I'm very excited about Season 5. It does a lot of what previous seasons have failed to do: add content to the game that shows up frequently and randomly without being a gimmick. I still want to see new biomes at some point- those are my favorite type of content.

Low Gravity and the Elevator is going to be so much fun! Im looking forward to it

While I am a bit sad that we won’t get another season for probably a year, I’m glad that they laid out exactly why and what they’re doing to help combat the waiting. DRG is already one of the most varied and replayable games I know of, so just having that old stuff to finish off, new stuff to collect, and new cave variety will go a long way in the content drought. And I’m sure we’ll still get maintenance updates like we have been this season, as well as the seasonal events.

When they mentioned the drillavator I was immediately reminded of a particular mission in Halo 2 where you need to take an elevator down and you have enemies attacking you and I remember it being quite fun and tense.

I was in disbelief when the Mortar Rounds overclock was announced, because 6 months ago I had a dream where I was playing DRG and I was using a weapon that I would also describe as a "full-auto PGL". Although in my dream it was a brand new weapon rather than an Autocannon overclock, after waking up and telling friends about my dream, I also described it as a minimum rate of fire Autocannon that took the AoE mods, and had arcing shots like the PGL. This overclock lowers rate of fire and increases AoE damage and makes the projectiles arc, so all in all I was strangely spot-on.

Glypphid Stalker reinforces my opinion that Hoxes is actually a test environment for DRG's prototype weapons division. Dwarves are mainly there to test said weapons

I love the idea of having to fend off bugs from above as we tunnel down into the depths, and using jet boots to extract sounds like it'll be so intense, managing your fuel, avoiding falling back into the chasm, all while flying away from swarm after swarm. This game is already incredibly cinematic, and this sounds like that'll get turned up to 11 next season

The ability to go back to old seasons is so welcome. Also making it much easier to get what you want instead of hoping the crago crates have mercy on you more than usual.

Remember to craft all your matrix cores. If you have matrix cores of previous season gear, they will disappear from your crafting station list, and you have to get scrip for the seasons they belong in to get them back.

With those new goggles and the last new filtermask you can literally become a Halo Grunt.

I don't mean to toot my own horn here, but about 7 months ago I posted this idea for what Season 5 could be on Reddit, I even called it "Going Deeper," you can find it yourself if you'd like. I included a bunch of artwork to demonstrate the idea - the main thing being a vertical drill platform you could ride down. Aaron, a GSG dev, commented that he thought the idea was cool and that they (the team, presumably) would talk about it over lunch. Now, the idea wasn't super original in it's own right, but perhaps the devs at GSG were considering multiple ideas for a new mission type, and mine just so happened to be similar to one option they had planned? It would be useful to know one way or the other if I was a source of inspiration or not, but either way it's pretty slick that an idea I suggested sort of became real.

It's really cool if they add the engi's shotgun overclock called "Dragon breath rounds" that shoots a scorching projective that capable of igniting enemies and causing an explosion like lok-1 explosive chemical rounds for the cost of reduced total ammo and lower damage output

While I am disappointed that we won't be getting anything else till 2025, I am glad they at least put a lot into this season. That will hopefully make the wait a lot more bearable.

I really hope the pump action over clock for the warthog actually changes the animation so that you pump it every shot. With the right noise, that will be so satisfying

had a drg dream once, had a mission similar to this new one, where you enter a fucking HUGE cavern room and had to find the mining unit and get it fixed to continue the mission, the mining unit being a XXXL doretta type thing, never got to see the end, but cool dream

very glad they're finally de-bloating crates & shit by letting you replay seasons. when they announced season 2 and said that season 1's stuff would be in crates, i knew said crates would get bloated pretty soon. glad they finally fixed it lol

As a very patient person myself, I can understand they want to push Season 6 aside for the time being until 2025 so that they can focus more on the development of Rogue Core which I'm still excited for and I hope Rouge Core will be successful just like DRG. Now if they do start working on Season 6, I do hope they'll add in new weapons and new biomes because I would love to explore new areas along with the new weapons to try out. Now with that out of the way, I'm super hyped for Season 5 to come in June soon. New mission type, new cosmetics, and new enemies here I come! ROCK AND STONE! ⛏💰🍻⛏💰🍻

I be honest, being able to play previous Seasons is one of my FAVORITE additions. Now there's no need to rush the game or feeling like I need to play everyday to finish the Pass, before a new one arrives. Just enjoy at my own pace and if the Season ends, I can just go back to it. Even better, because I arrived as Season 3 was ending, so now I have a chance to complete the pass AND the previous ones, as well ^^

It's sad to see no confirmed season 6 but it's completely understandable considering how long they've been working on the game. I'm excited to see what Rogue Core has to offer and what the future holds for the DRG universe.

i love this game dude, every season it gets better and better i hope they keep adding new stuff, mainly new enemies and weapons and overclocks every new update i can't help but to come back and play

Looking forward to new overclocks and 3 untouched (kinda) season passes, grinding for 2 cosmetics a week was getting very stale. I'm over 80% total weapon xp and over 50 blank matrix cores. This new content has also given me a goal, gotta get resources and finish weapon xp before June. Kinda wish for weapons but I love goo longshot/lots of laser/cryo minelets. Some perks would be nice too I'm sitting on so many perk points.

Nice QoL and variances to what's already there. Can't say I'm overly excited about it though. Knowing Rogue Core is around the corner has me both jaded and excited. We could have more, but we're also getting more. Anyway, love the content as always.

Holy crap. This is so much! Im personally really glad to see that they are letting us go back and olay previous season B-passes for their loot and cosmetics! It keeps that feeling of progressing going when you've got everything and not to mention, its just a chad thing all around to do. Thank you Ghost Ship games. Working on other stuff for a while is a good way to get the creative juices flowing anyway, so focusing on Rogue Core might also let them cook on some fresh gameplay concepts. Seems like overall they're targeting long-term viability for the game which is good.

those weapon maintenance skins look really cool and i cant wait for the ability to get old season battle passes so i dont have to find a thousand lost packs just to get a cosmetic i want, also deep scan sounds like it will be really fun

I haven't been this excited for a season since season 2. I'm definitely most excited for the deep scan mission and the returning seasons. The thought of emerging into the geode while waist deep in bug corpses sounds so cool. And if SOMEHOW season 5 turns out bad (I don't see this happening at all) I will still be playing the hell out of season 1 and 2. Also love how we are getting a second Fallout helmet in the game.

I love the ability to go back to original seasons. Sometimes, I stop playing for a while and I miss out on a lot and have to grind for a while to get what I missed but just being able to get the items easier is a great improvement and should be followed by other games

I'm not gonna pretend that I'm excited for Haz 5+ because I never play on that difficulty, and I will admit that I'm not that good at this game and I probably never will be. I play this game solo and I like the chill and the standard difficulty at Haz 3. Haz 4 is okay for me but 3 is my sweet spot. If they decide to add the difficulty modifiers for ALL hazards, I'm gonna be really hyped for that. I would love to have the enemies take a few more hits while also providing me with a bit more gold and XP at the end of the mission on the difficulty that I feel comfortable playing in.

One thing id really like for them to add is making Hexcore events a guaranteed thing in missions. Because with more cosmetics being moved into that loot pool when S5 starts, its turns the progression of getting those overclocks and cosmetics into such a daunting task. Or maybe an ability to pick one cosmetic from a dropdown list so getting that one cosmetic you're desperate for isn't left entirely to 3 acts of random chance (the event spawning, getting your desired class in the Event tab, and getting that piece of gear)

Honestly I couldn’t care less about season 6. All of the info that they have shared with us about the update sounds so amazing. More replayability and more cosmetics is all I could ask for and the fact that this isn’t everything coming out is awesome. Im super excited for rogue core too so im glad they will be going full steam ahead into its development.
