Just got my DeepMind 12d a few months ago here now in 2021 and it's still such a legendary synth, this video really helped me to delve into the arp on mine and opened up a whole bunch of opportunities, thank you! Going to check out the other video's you've made on this amazing synth. :)
Glad it helped! I've done some live streams with the DM12 - the last one was using the TC Electronic June-60 chorus pedal with it (seeing if it sounded like a Juno synth). ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-ek8c2JFO_pc.html
Thanks for the great focus on how to use the menu to customize user arpeggios - a really cool feature of deepmind. That said, I think it's really odd that you included delay effects in an arpeggio demo. Then you used external effects which are included on-board. Makes it a little fuzzy as to what features you are highlighting.
So, question. Why can't I change the value of my velocity, gate and LEM? Secondly, where is the option on the menu for COMP? Why does his menu have more and has certain working functionality?
Great, helpfull video. Just one question - Is it possible to program the arp to play a specific pattern of notes, in relation to the note pressed, specified by the user?
I own a Deepmind 12. I have a Midi clock being sent from my Roland TR8 into the in midi port of my Deepmind 12. Is there way to when I press the start/stop on my Roland Tr-8 that it would trigger the on/off on the ARP of my DM12?
ranzee thanks for responding. I did try this but it didn’t work. I’d like to assume Behringer could enable this in a patch for receiving midi signal to DM12 sequencer, a simple enable disable function.
Hi Ana, there's a setting in the DeepMind that you can set clock to external. So for example under ARP settings you can set the MIDI clock to external by default it is set to MIDI (auto) - which you use a MIDI DIN cable - or change it to USB (Auto) if using MIDI via USB.
Hi Funk Tree :) Thanks so much for watching and taking the time to comment, it is truly appreciated! I love external FX pedals - and I also love the internal FX on the DM12 - so I find myself using it in all sorts of different ways :)
