There's actually a lot more racism in deepwoken than you realize, when deepwoken felinor's were shown people hated them so much that in lore felinors were hated by every race yet, they made most of the machines and weapons inside the game including the arc suit, mecha megalodaunt, MANY of the guns etc, also about that felinor being a arsonist, yeah uh felinors were always canonically the strongest and most hated race also the hive literally can manipulate life that includes trees so like fireproof trees seem the most reasonable thing tbh also voidwalkers dream state, is FOR the voidwalkers themselves it's THEIR dream and what they see/represent it as and since voidwalkers are hollow on the inside that's why it's black and white in the voidheart as it's the heart of the void your void, you are hollow as a void.
I actually really like the point you make about bandits and NPCs in general. I think it'd be neat for low level NPC to run or at least be weary at the sight of a high level player.
1:22 theres a canor that isnt allowed to get into etris + theres a summer isle npc that talks about how adrets are "different" and pretty sure that summer isle guards used to call players with felinor race and neutral rep thiefs + making guards attack certain races would be kinda pay 2 win
I genuinely agree with the fear part its just an annoyance most of the time dealing with these weak npcs you can kill in one hit running at you and half the time being parry gods before they just slump over, plus it would just be a cool interaction
Etreans being racist was changed for gameplay reasons (which I'm pretty glad for, would suck considering a major boss fight is stuck behind good rep with this faction), but I really wish they'd work around it instead of removing the racism aspect entirely
@@Reaconteur NO BUT FR I RLY LIKE THE RACISM ASPECT OF ETREANS, ties in really well with their stiff and traditional ways and there were a lot of ways I'm sure they could have worked around the gameplay aspect of their racism. The only real benefit to good rep with Etrea beyond one talent (bodyguard detail) is the manor key. The etrean guards can still be racist by barely tolerating you if you're not an etrean with different dialogue. It wouldn't change gameplay at all 🤓🤓🤓🤑

There is heavy lore importance to purple attunements. As purple symbolizes complete mastery which is impossible for any normal being. The red ice was not just to add a color, it was to give some added uniqueness to crystalization and help players distinguish it. It can be taken as you're cystalizing your or your enemies blood or you're infusing it with iron content in the ground around you
i like how these are either completely valid complaints or the pettiest shit one could think of anyways another thing that doesnt make sense is mantras that were designed to look good on only a couple weapon types being used with different ones. for example: frost grab with literally anything other than fists or rapid slashes with fists

Deepwoken should have a talent that allows you do to a quick light punch with your left hand if you're not using a left armament (like elden ring). Unlike guns, the damage and speed would not scale off of your weapon damage or speed. However, this would occupy the slot of a side arm, so instead of not listing a side arm, the game would list it as "Side Fist" or smth.

Tbf when a youtuber makes a suggestion video it usually gets added (like how banks got added a week after DanVR suggested them), but I dont feel like ideas from the suggestion channel, or just from regular people ever get implemented Also red ice is I think meant to symbolize crystals (as in the ones in the ground)

bells and murmurs aren't chants of the song while the dreadstar only opposes these chants(mantras), so that's why you can get bells and murmurs as silentheart.
In our defense, Humans in Deepwoken like for example freshies are already superhuman in stats. and some of the max level players have AP of City block level or higher(depends on your abilities mantras etc)
Some npcs like the instructor at isle of vigil holds block and keep moving towards me when i use flame ballista and when charge is charging, they just stick to me while holding block and when change is complete and releases, boom they get 1 shot
Here’s 2 1. Why are the divers npcs trash you would think after living in depths your whole life you would be able to take on more then 1 mob 2. Why is there barely any map changes, Deepwoken started line year 700 and now it’s in 1400s why isn’t anything changed about places like Etris

Yet your bell is a manifestation of the song of your SOUL, just like a murmur, maybe they could add a silentheart upgrade with more upgrades in return for no murmur and bell, where you silence your very soul?
silenthearts reject the song w their heart, their soul can still resonate it regardless somehow dawnwalker (radiant magic and a literal manifestation of light) counters shadow (darkness)
im pretty sure that Hive focuses solely on technology. If im not mistaken the abuse of "the song" led to the creation of the depths, so hive focuses on technology in case the "water rises" ig.
my point may just be invalid cuz im not a big deepwoken lore guy but for the silentheart take. if your body refuses something, but then something is attached to you impossible to get off and in moments that something is needed and helpful(classic anime story)that seems reasonable. this can maybe be backed up by how manifesting your bell actually works which i dont actually know so lmk
my headcanon with silenthearts is that they're "hypocrites", their entire shtick is basically rejecting the song but they still use it through murmurs, bells etc. either knowingly or unknowingly

This video is peak and I laughed several times but the silentheart bit is misinfo. Re-read the description, it states "You vow to reject the *words* of the song." Words being mantras. You just reject mantras, not song. If you rejected song you would probably just die cause the song is literally everywhere and acts as life energy and shit. Erm acktually, silent hearts are dead to the WORDS of the song, not the song itself. Also I think they just didn't want to make crystal the same color as surge but surge is still mostly blue anyway so they could've just made it actually purple but that's not as cool ig. As for other things that don't make sense: wtf is up with Primadon. Genuinely just like wtf. What is the deal with the ritual fire, what created this thing, is it connected to the khan since their ape-humans, why do we know the exact origins of the dread serpent, how to become one and how the materials needed to summon the elder edenkite but there is zero info on the fish monkey with an entire island dedicated to it. Hell why do we know all that but we don't know where the rest of the dread serpents came from. Is it just the mad stewart with a fake nose and glasses going "ooh ouch oof ya got me" then coming back everytime
one thing that doesn't make sense is how there are only like 5 npcs in the game that went insane, like seriously, if you're telling me alot of stuff makes you insane i expect to see atleast one insane npc in each voidzone that i can talk to, or put a body there or something.
Purple ice wouldn't make sense lore-wise, because whenever your attunement is purple, that means you've mastered it, like Ethiron's purple gale and Ferryman's purple thunder.
it lines up more if when you evolved your attunement it turned purple not mastered it, imagine you just get really good at an element and instead of being able to do cool things you've just turned it purple@@yoruliinxed
Parrying sing and glare makes sense because you can parry song and mantras are manifestations of song imagine just parrying physical projectiles that's basically what happens with those mantras
Silenthearts only refuse the usage of the WORDS of the song (also know as mantras), they can still use Ressonances and Murmurs since they are both manifestations of the Soul, also since Ether, i think, its more like a vital energy that all beings in Deepwoken have, so it would be weird to change to "Stamina" just for the sake of a Oath.

Red ice could be ice crystals because it is litterually called cristalization or scp 009 which does the same as cristalization does to your boddy but worse as the mantra path

“Red ice” is not really red by itself but that’s not the point. Path is literally called “crystallisation” which means that it’s just pink gems at this point and not ice(which doesn’t make hell lots of sense too but at least it explains some)
I am from Apothecary community we need Alchemy overhaul, removal of cauldron mantra and cauldron tool and other alchemy station. Dawg I gotta write suggestion on overhaul of alchemy. But I don’t think it will be added before void tower. Void tower can potentially be the most long lasting update, after it maybe alchemy overhaul will happen.
Also it has high chance of happening because we have got Tjin, Punchee and Dr. Carrion. If I manage to cook 👨🍳 up entire text document with lore detailed explanations much more potion ideas and other, perhaps potions will be actively used.

I agree with everything but 2 things potions being weak - inf ether and 50% dmg buffs or debuffs as well as 50% of your hp back in 1 pot, potions just require they are made right and by a person with a high int build (you dont need to be high int you just need it made by someone with high int) all deepwoken players being scitzos - MY OWL FRIEND IS REAL I SWEAR YOU CAN SEE HIM TOO RIGHT?
