I have killed lots of nice bucks with this call. I have called in both does and bucks been using this call for 5 years and the only call I depend on. Worth the money 100% it works better than any other call I've ever use.
I have had this call for a couple of years and I have called in 2 big bucks a big 9 I got mounted then I called in a big 8 ten feet under my stand would recommend only problem is the fawn call doesn't work that well
Just moved out of town. Have deer coming in behind house now with corn and salt lick. They always come around dusk but run off when I open a door, window, or go near them. Any chance of gaining their trust so they won’t run away or is that just how they are.
They’re beautiful animals but you’d be doing them a great disservice by desensitizing those deer to people. They’ll always run, it’s instinct.. but the second they don’t means you’ve conditioned them to hesitate, or out right abandon, one of their only survival tactics.
I just received my Extinguisher today, I am so looking forward to trying it out on the field. It's mid December now, I'm in Southern Ontario and we just started having below freezing temps and a few inches of snow on the ground. I will get out once or twice in the last week of December. I was wondering if you have any suggestions about how I should approach this hunt in terms of using the call and rattling. I am not familiar with deer hunting this time of year and I don't want to scare anything off by doing too much are making the wrong calls. Someone told me that there are actually two ruts, November and mid to late December. I appreciate any advice
Late season also known as post rut I'd use the doe maiteing bleat. About 2 and half to 3 hours after daylight. Find doe bedding, buck bedding areas, water and food source. I've has better luck just having a buck cruising to his bedding area just after daylight. Rattling late season is not a good strategy due to their moods are changed from fighting and keeping territory to bedding, feeding and getting the late bleating does. Actually late season after it calms down in the woods the bigger bucks start to come out and get the late does that the young bucks are now to tired to chase. The bleat call is extremely simple and if there's does and a buck in the area its highly affective.

First and only time using this call I doe bleated in a monster 6 point. The thing that hurt me was he was a very mature buck and came down wind from me and knew exactly where to go and look. He was behind some thick brush and couldn't get a clesr shot off before. He got sent of me and bolted. The only reason I have used it once and once only it was late season before i got one. This call is absolutely insane and I could by how quick he reacted and how he knew exactly where to go.
i got this last year and bagged 6 deer i called in a big 10 point buck i did not get him but it was the coolest thing to see i love it thank you for making it
If I want to call in a buck, do I have the setting on doe or buck? And same question for calling in a doe. How long should each call sound? 3-6 seconds ?
It would depend, buck are territorial, so a buck call can call in a buck. A doe call will also call in a buck during rut. For us in Illinois that’s mid November. As for a doe, I typically don’t call for does. But a buck call will give does a direction to go to. Hope this helps!
Patience, this call has called in numerous bucks for me. Two really nice 8pt in 15 min. Don’t over call, watch these videos and try and mimic their sounds. Early season I use fawn bleats to call in doe and smaller deer, during rut I gently touch the antlers together to sound like two smaller bucks sparring. (This usually peaks the interest of the deer around me. As our buck to die ratio is WAY OFF.) I live on Long Island in NY. you don’t see/hear a lot of fighting by me because the ratio is out of control. Just take your time and PRACTICE. You will not be disappointed I can promise you that.
