This is my favorite deer camp video I have seen. Very well done. You guys look like a great group to hunt with, and the amount of work you put into organizing and maintaining the camp is next level. I bet your paps is so proud to be able to sit around the fire at camp with his boys. Look forward to a 2024 video.
Thank you for taking us along for the outing! Enjoyed the opportunity to be there, without being there. What a wonderful experience and memories that will last a lifetime.
This video captures the essence of deer camp - time with family, good food, connection with nature. Well done! A nice departure from the videos that sensationalize harvesting a large antlered buck as the main goal of hunting.
Awesome deer camp video. Just the way it is at so many deer camps across North America. Nice to see you guys had some luck. Your a pretty handy chef at camp too.
Came across your videos, good times with great memories! You're the one guy that brings everyone together like myself. You supply the comfort and joy in making outdoor life easier for everyone with getting to camp early and setting everything, everyone comes and just hunt. I have 90 acres up by grand rapids, Mn and just recently someone said why do we start hunting so late in the season? I said you guys start late but my hunting season started in the spring with planting food plots, cutting and clearing trails, building you guys an outhouse so you guys don't have to squat against a tree. As long as we love the outdoors and want to make good memories with our friends and family we have to provide some comfort for the city slickers. I provide the land, atv, food plots and deer but you guys just do the dragging😊
Ha! Yep I feel ya. It’s a lot of work getting everything ready and like you said, it starts in a different season. It must be nice having your own land to keep things at. Now I have to find public land and start all over again. Oh well, it’s fun.
Great video, so sorry you have lost your hunting spot. Congrats to all who scored!! A good way to say good bye with some game. I know you have a lot of memories at that spot. Now it will be time to start new memories and relive those old memories around a campfire. Thanks for sharing you hunt. Our rifle season starts the Monday of the week of Thanksgiving. Jerod and I will head up to the National Forest here in WV the Friday after Thanksgiving to hunt the second week. Juddie - J & J TOA
Hah, I recognized the Pine City Police Station. That's my same drive back up north to my hometown of Superior, WI. Great hunt! And smoked chuck roasts are one of my goto's
And no sign of the SABA. MAYBE next year...lol. how i miss those times like yall just had. It was always sad to see camp break up n everyone head home . But if you're lucky you have next year to look forward to. Sadly my days of the hunt is over.
Awesome video!! Nothing better then deer camp with family!! Looks like you guys have a great time. I have to admit I’ve never seen a wood stove in a travel camper before 👍. Thanks for taking us along. New subscriber!
You guys put some deer in the tree, congrats!! You put a lot of effort into putting together a good trip for you family, awesome! Crack me up man, I’m totally the same way about cleanliness… I have a pretty nice garage/man cave, and I keep it clean and squared away.. My buddy calls it, my she shed!
Great video , first time watching, enjoyed it greatly, reminds me of what the real reason we all went , not to see who haf the Biggest rack to take home but to take home some great memories memories
Back in the 1976 me and my best friend hunted in Vernon but in a army tent not like today but we were tuff only 17 years old we didn’t need much food or water but we had a lot of food and water we would go in town and get dinner it was the best.
If you need to find a new place to hunt there's public land up north of Duluth off the Brimson road. You can camp at the old Sullivan Lake CCC site. It's just down the road from my cabin and my buddies and I have camped there pre deer season for grouse hunting. There's a fire ring available as well as an outhouse.
@@evanlinde89 take highway 4 north out of Duluth about 35 miles, Brimson road takes off on the right (east) side, 2 miles down is Sullivan lake and on the right hand side of the road is the old CCC camp.
Well, just bring a camera or phone and film what you think is interesting. My channel is more about camp than hunting because I find that more interesting to watch.
Good question. I guess we could have waited. I personally would rather help by fellow hunters with their deer than sit it out. They had never field dressed before too.
yep join the club been thier done that use of basement use of garage shed time cut clean get it processed or frozen packed up it is what is getting worse let put it this way i take lot pride i feel it worth it nothing like sign says private property to be honest to damn many people city folk tourist old day old ways . here the deal i know but just read it
@@evanlinde89 ahhh!! Whack! Oh well, is what it is huh? Look forward to seeing more. This looks super fun and I've never been so I had to ask if it was a hunting reason like letting the deer population go back to normal or something. Love the content man. 👌
