The Koshi Anko is a word joke about red bean paste. There's 2 main varieties, Tsubu anko which has the whole beans in it and Koshi anko where the beans are smashed through a sieve and the skins removed so it's smooth. My family makes mochi every year and we prefer the koshian, the smooth variety.

This episode was really nice, a bit like an "introduction" episode for the Deer Club newest member : Anko. I had fun and the deer god kicking her (like real deer do btw), just had me losing it, it was like he was saying "fuck off you troll deer!" Also, this is the second episode they make a reference to manga and how she fangirls over some characters (like mikey), I think there'll be other appearances of other male characters from popular manga during this season. I wonder who haha
