Salute' It's awesome your family still has there land. I'm starting with me. One of my cousins from Philly sold our land in Lynchburg Virginia before I've became of age. 5000 acres gone. We use to hunt, fish, farm, learned all kinds of woodsman skills on that lady. Family gatherings Xmas, Thanksgiving , horse riding.

The hollows are catching at entry of the chamber. Full metal is smooth so it feeds better. But there should be no excuse. Get rid of the firearm and write the manufacturer as well.

People have a tendency to think that being successful is all about the amount of money that one has at their disposal, OG you have shown your subscribers that just living a positive, non complicated life is sometimes the best way to enjoy life. 5yrs ago I moved my family away from a major city to a place where there's plenty of farmers, no sidewalks and plenty of water around and she reminds me everyday how thankful she is. Hey sir, polish the feed ramp and check the spring in the magazine. If you leave the mag loaded to the max capacity in a Taurus mag, the spring will get weak and cause a failure to feed. I have the PT92 and it is very sensitive to worn magazine springs. Glock in 40 cal or 10mm is perfect for long gun backup. Thanks for following gun safety practices, sets an excellent example for all. Awesome restraint for not harvesting that doe with the yearling, there was no reason for it. You are the man!!

Get some lapping compound, lube it up with that and run about a box of ammo through it to hone the upper and lower perfectly. Also, check wear marks on your magazines to see if you need to burnish or file the tops of your magazines. Magazines don't always come perfect and need some fine tuning on the metal. I had to do that with my brothers PPK 32 Auto. It was his magazines and not the pistol.

appreciate the videos. Had the same problem with my Taurus G3C, polished the ramp real good, worked flawlessly.

I used to have a Taurus p140 and it did the same thing as well and was very top-heavy so I got rid of mines a couple of years ago. Glock fan over here.

Happy Thanksgiving. I gave my son my old G3 and got the G2 ran hundreds of ball ammo through and no jams. But I did switch to the Springfield XD-S, with the red dot. So far outstanding. Keep it going bro. I love this. Straight from Dallas, Tx.

You can send that Taurus back to the manufacturer and they can fix you up pretty easy. I've seen feed ramps with burrs that will cause hollow points to hang up. A gunsmith mys stone and polish it for a fix. I've also seen the slides hang on top of the barrel because the fit and finish isn't always great on some Taurus pistols. Both are easy to work on, and can get your pistol to run like its supposed to run.

Watching you having trouble with your Taurus you might try one of two remedies 1:Have your feeding ramp smooth down. 2.Use BALL AMMO (FMJ). Having your feeding ramp smooth down resolved my problem several years ago with my 45ACP 1911. It only happened to one of my handguns and it has not happened since. Bossman, there's no way I'd put my life in that gun's hands! No polishing, no oiling, nothing! It should function properly str8 out the box! Get rid of the paperweight and get a real pistol. A P365 is damn near the same size and will never let you down.

Bossman when you have a gun that won't feed anything its probably the magazine. Taurus is known for really bad magazines. If you can get springs from someone like Wilson that might solve the problem. You might have got rid of that gun. I just found your channel and your camp is like any camp I've been in EXCEPT YOU HAVE GOOD FOOD! GOD BLESS

I have a G2C also. On occasion it would do the same, "hang up". I polished the entire slide face where the firing pin hole is along with the barrel feed ramp. I havent had a jam since and using all kinds of different ammo. I have since added a Cerakote finish and still good to go. I do think the spring is a bit too heavy and recommend you let the gun sit with the slide locked back for a week+. This will help compress the spring some, just as shooting it will do. Hope this helps! My dad had the same issue with a different model Taurus and had to do the same.

A new sub and thumbs up for Y'all. Growing up in the segregated south of the Mississippi Delta of the early 60s I knew even then I was privileged to be doing what we were doing. I'm not one of these fools that cannot see the things for what they were and for the most part still are. Many years later I got asked to leave a hunting club because I took one of the deaf teenagers, I worked with deer hunting over the weekend with me. I worked as an interpreter for the deaf and had been working with him for a few years by then. He always had questions about hunting. His dad was a bass fisherman but had never had a place where he could hunt so the child had never been to the woods. He, I, and his dad talked and picked a weekend during doe season to go and off we went. Grilled some steaks and got up and cooked breakfast and headed to the stands. Had a chance to shoot a doe but he wanted to wait to see if maybe some legal horns might show up. They did not but he had a good time doing the whole hunting camp scene. Next time I paid my dues my check was returned to me. LOL. Such is life. All of that to say we have many young folks that would greatly enjoy and learn from the chance to do these things and they never get the chance. Granted there are public hunting areas, but if you do not live near them then you still have no place to go. Enjoy and thanks for the share.

I have a tarus 3g that does the same thing . I polished the feed ramp and that helps a little. And as far as the doe with little ones I'm the same way I let them walk also. Great videos I love watching your content . May God bless you and your family.

I shoot a glock 26 and done the same thing. I learned when you shooting it, you have to prevent blow back. That means you have to prevent the nose of the pistol from rising to high and have better control of the shot. If you let the recoil kick back too far you lose energy in the shot and it will hang up every time. I have no problems now. Hope this helps.

Man!! Where do I start....Thanks for sharing your experiences with us. Thanks for your leadership that you show, while still allowing the young men to grow and flourish into their own. That safety that you show with your side arm, is something lost in a lot of settings. I carry that same Taurus, well, mine is a 9mm. Funny because of all the expensive/extra-extra hand pieces I have, that one is my favorite. I was using the Hornady self-defense rounds. Haven't had a issue. I don't know about the 40 caliber. It does should the metal jackets better. It put a hog down for me last year. You guys definitely have a subscriber in me. I like that grendel.

Yessir those hollows will do it on a compact. Gotta be full. Sometimes as well don't pack the clip to capacity. 40 s&w pretty good with hollows though I owned 1.
