Special thanks to John Deere, who allowed Tractor Time with Tim to see where John Deere compact utility tractors are made! We toured the compact tractor factory in Augusta, Georgia. After watching this video, you'll see that Deere 1 - 4 series are made in the USA! Deere designs, manufactures the parts, assembles, tests and transports these amazing machines.

I bought a new JD 1025 R with all the bells and whistles in Sept 2019 and boy I love it. I took Tim's advice and got some after market Edge Tamers and they work great for keeping my loader bucket from tearing up my lawn when I am lifting up mulch and not this year but hopefully soon pushing snow with my baby!!!! Nothing runs Like a DEERE!!!!!

Very inspiring - glad John Deere allowed you inside there production facility, not that this has changed my view on the quality but knowing that there are a lot of US parts and even more US men and women assembling these fine tractors makes me want one even more

My 1991 855 has a 24 HP 3 cyl Yanmar engine that is still running perfectly after all these years. I think it's running stronger today that when I brought the tractor home way back then. I liked watching the video Tim, I learned a few things about John Deere also. 🍔🍟😁

My Dad bought a 24HP with the Yanmar engine around 1990. It is still running great and never a problem with that engine. Actually, the only problem we have ever had with that tractor was with one of the brakes.

I LOVE LOVE this video! I thought that John Deere compact tractors were manufactured overseas.John Deere is a great company with great products! My family farmed for approximately 81 years. During the depression the only implement company that would give my Grandfather credit was . . . John Deere. Subsequently the only new tractors my family purchased was John Deere’s. Credit wasn’t the only reason John Deere’s were bought. . . Quality and performance were continuing reasons. One of the tractors we had was a 720. My Dad said that the 720 and a comparable Case running corn choppers would run neck and neck until there was a hill than the 720 would pull away. The 720 was a torque monster.

Very cool, made me love my 1025r even more! I work in a factory like this so I feel for the workers. It's always nice when the workers put a little pride into what they do. I had one of my hydraulic fittings on my power steering cylinder come loose! (The one the worker is touching right at 10:11) Luckily, while I was greasing everything, I noticed it and tightened it down. It never leaked however.
