Masa. Once considered the worst character in competitive Def Jam, now stands in a pretty high tier (A to be specific). In my experience, he requires A LOT of finesse to play, using a lot of his moves and abusing his best ones. Like playing a game of attrition with a squishy character.
@@makmakg242 -Punch combo 3 is a very good punch string, and the first punch is an excellent poking tool. -The first kicks in his neutral and forward kick strings can be used to chase down opponents and are also very good range poking tools. -His neutral hard punch (Hard punch 1) has great wall stick/bounce chance, opening up for an environmental attack. -Hard punch 2 is safe to all parries, so you can use it if you condition/think your opponent is going to parry you. -Hard kick 3 is surprisingly safe, and is safe to all parries. -Hard Kick 2 is unsafe on parry, but can be used to chain combos and allows for a follow up grab if it bounces/staggers your opponent close enough to you. -His running kick is good, has decent damage, can catch people getting up if you time it right, and has a decent wall stick chance. -His ground strike (the casual kick to the gut) is his best tool to hit opponents on the ground, as well as his running ground strike in certain situations. (Note: submission grabs should be used ideally on a stunned opponent from an environmental wall attack, but MAKE SURE THEY'RE STUNNED) -Hard grab 2 is decent enough to wear down your opponents arm, making them deal less damage with all grapples and strikes, and decrease stun capability. -Hard grab 4 is also decent, can be used to destroy a kickboxing heavy character's deadliest weapons on the wall. -Do not sleep on his other head submission moves. Weaker head health= increase likelihood of stunning your opponent with enough damage from an environmental attack. However, do not ignore his other punch strings, but leave them in the back of your head as something to throw out sparingly to screw with you opponents. Light grabs are useless unless your character has one that is capable of chain stunning. And again, BE CAREFUL. One poorly judged move will more than likely delete that precious health bar, as Masa is not tanky in the slightest.
Def Jam tip: 1) Keep Masa away with distance to avoid his aggressive takedown actions. Strike at him whenever you see an opening. 2) Be cautious against Masa's grapple moves. Tap buttons rapidly to escape from his submission tactics.
For a long time I thought santos was a terrible character but Masa...Man, in def jam vendetta Masa was so terrifying when you has a combat with him. is really sad how he is bad asf in DJFFNY

Cause Magic is tougher and more defensively op. Masa despite what his ratings show is kind of a glass jaw. They should've added martial arts to his style.

Eu vi ali que é só correndo + X com o oponente de costas, então não tem como fazer esse movimento como o Masa faz mas valeu mesmo assim, seu canal é top! Espero que a EA lance um Def Jam logo pra ver no seu canal
Tenho uma sugestão, traz mais personagens do Tekken tipo Marduk, King (sem máscara é claro kkk) Feng, que eu sei que tem a posição de luta igual a dele, ficaria top.
