Def Jam: Fight for NY is the sequel to Def Jam Vendetta, a hip hop-influenced 3D action game released for the GameCube, PlayStation 2 and Xbox and is followed by Def Jam: Icon. The game features several rappers, including Lil' Kim, Snoop Dogg, Method Man, Redman, Fat Joe, Joe Budden, Ice-T, Xzibit, N.O.R.E, Ludacris, and Busta Rhymes, Flavor Flav, Sean Paul as well as the voices and likeness of other celebrities, such as Henry Rollins, Christopher Judge and Kimora Lee Simmons. DMX, Keith Murray, Christina Milian and Funkmaster Flex were the only artists from the original game that did not appear in the sequel. The game was spun off into a 2006 PlayStation Portable game called Def Jam Fight for NY: The Takeover.

madhash83 You could have Kendrick, J Cole, French Montana, 50 cent, Game, Gucci Mane, Drake, Dave East to name a few. Some of them above aren't good rappers but they are characters lol. It would be entertaining and with upgraded graphics it could be awesome. If you have Thugger then the wardrobe game would be insane, not my cup of tea. I'm not with rappers dressing like chicks but I'm sure there's girls out there who would love to dress Thugger up in bitchy outfits LMAO.

I came up with some concepts for a follow up to FFNY'a story, with D-Mob and Crow being dead, 13 years later, the underground fight scene builds itself back up, with 50 cent in D-mobs place and Kanye in Crows place.

This game brings back all the memories. I've had a great amazing time playin it when i was a little dude. One of the best storylines ever. A story that's so good that you just get enough. It was exciting. It has the power. It the has the fire. Definitely one of my best favorite fighting games to this very day. Definitely the best one in the series. Def jam fight for ny and def jam vendetta was both definitely the shit. Real talk, man. It should've had a really great trilogy. But unfortunately, the third one really took all of that awesomeness away and ruined it. Oh, god. Don't even get me started with that shit.

Yeah, let's ignore the fact that they made every single person not only sexier in this game than they are in real life, but also with perfect abs and overall muscles. ..with the exception of Fat Joe. Also, Fat Joe being such an amazing champion you go into a cage match with? That's just adorable. And I didn't even mention the fact that they fight with tons of bling bling - huge-ass gold and silver necklaces, earrings, and piercings - all of which would be really bad and stupid to wear during a fight. I really don't think realism is something I would associate this game with.

+kurvos Yes I'll give you a mulligan on that also some people do wear rings in an underground fight makes the hits harder and a game in culturing a certain area of hip hop is totally gonna be PC about things that are commonly done within street fighting, that part of realism to underground fighting, or does everyone have to pass the 'No having certain "problematic" elements test'?
