Exactly they feel like their gods but nothing beats DEF JAM FIGHT FOR NEW YORK still the mechanics like the scratch wasnt bad it felt like we mixing songs and yeah it's slow the fighting but at least its realistic
No blazin moves No MMA basically no identity If they want to make new def jam fight game i hope they make it control like take over with ground and pound ground submission counterable environment grab with icon right stick directional attack it would be perfect def jam fight game
@@ItzTreee read what Bru said 😂 it felt like you were actually fighting in the hood 😂 much more shit was fire for this game you and all these other niggas are just blinded by nostalgia
I give this game a 7/10 it was freaking fun for it's time and what really brought me into this game was another game called True Crime NYC because of Redman.
EA once said that they were having technical problems adding weapons to this game and they said the gameplay speed was causing the problem. Shame they never added the use of weapons on here.
@@bradshawlol1 agree I feel bad for the people who made this I wonder how they reacted when people said this was trash but it ain’t better graphics better music and I love the dj thing it’s awesome
Exactly the Music scratch perfect but yeah overall I give it 5 out of 10 can work for next game with the previous DJ games especially FIGHT FOR NEW YORK
If this was on ps5 with current artists it would go double platinum. The ones who say it sucks could never get they song to play and they were getting blown up every five seconds 🤣
Fight for NY and Vendetta : We are both highly praised for our innovative genre styles, unique fight mechanics, and just absolutely stunning video graphics. Fight for NY and Vendetta: So, what do plan to be praised for? Def Jam ICON: basically all of those things but instead... none of them...and for the PS3.
People don't like it because there's no move set. Def Jam fight new york took skills to get good and it has counter moves, extra element on fighting etc. It was a big deal and i was surprise they took their time and effort on a ghetto game
gary busey it's part of the game. Music affects the background and the damage if strikes are thrown properly. And the graphics were pretty good for it's time...
Damn I agreed with everything until I got to the last part. Why it gotta be a ghetto game? Shit came with 74 characters which was more than most main stream fighting games. FFNY had quality and quantity
Did the background really move like that in this game never played fight for NY and original are my favorite amongst me my older bro an our homies I'm the dog father cuz they couldn't beat me
@@knowledgeseeker8582 stfu you probably haven’t even played it not like you could make a better game ffny sucked icon is better idc what you haters say
FFNY was only the best one to everybody because of the memorable faces within it. This is the best one hands down, we just needed to use social media the right way and suggest more characters and songs to be put in. This game had the culture on full 🔒. We just stopped appreciating the culture so…. No more Def Jam…
Except it controls like absolute shit and lacks depth compared to the Aki games. No other styles of fighting, no aerial/wall jump attacks or submissions, no weapons or crowd interactions (hell there's no audience at all, kinda eerie tbh) also no cool super moves and no 4-player mode - weak. Just a fundamentally bad fighting/wrestling game overall. Take away the roster from FFNY you still have a solid 3D brawler. This however is just awkward as hell the controls are sluggish, animations lack weight, every character is so expressive in Vendetta/FFNY but here the they are lifeless and have no personality. The "background mixing" bs is just unnecessary and only distracts from the core fighting. "had the culture on full 🔐 " lmao please, kudo tsunoda (this games director) literally killed the def jam game license both culturally and mechanically. Do some research on him, he's a right prick. The rest of the studio even admitted to screwing up real bad on this project. To hell with this awful game, hopefully it remains forgotten.
@@ColorMeDoubleZ agreed. Although it had way better graphics, you just can’t beat what they did with FFNY. And why was this game so freaking slow? I don’t get why they completely changed the speed
Even though i had never played this game before, I can already tell how much this game sucks, no combos, no blazin moves, no fighting styles. I would give this game a 2 out of 10. (Terrible 👎)
Chaos Zeno G no even close. This game actually had different fighting styles remixes a interactive environment good graphics and felt like an actual fight. 7/10
Bruh just stfu haters hate this just cause there is no blazin or sh*t like that so what this game is awesome it ain’t slow idk what the f*ck people said that for they must have been high or something
Se não gostou esse jogo eu já joguei esse jogo pq eu viciei essas músicas de rapper do ano algum que eu gosto que a cidade tocando musica de fundo que eu fiquei satisfeito. Jogo não é tão terrível melhor do def jam FFNY.
