Thanks for watching, I understand that this is a little different to what I usually do but I listen to these guys a lot and a good mate from work said I should put it up. I've always loved these huge 80's rock anthems and Leppard records have always sounded amazing. Sometimes the simplest songs are the best, very cool riff and a solo that can hardly be heard. Anyways I had fun playing this, love the huge guitar sound. Let me know if you'd like more.

I appreciate both the quality of your performance and the completeness of your version, providing so many of the fills and solos that are laced throughout the song. This selection, so typical of the guys in the band, is rich in layering the different instruments to create a sonic tapestry for the listener. What is the technique you are using at 0:15 and once again later in the track? Do you roll the volume to 0, hit a string and crank the volume back up? Or are just switching pickups or something? Spot on cover too, such a huge classic sound!

You got it, it's handy when the volume is in a good spot but you quickly turn the volume all the way off, strike the string then bring the vol back on. It's really easy on strat style guitars.

There are no real short cuts, the best way is to just practice, I had some private lessons when I first started so I didnt pick up and bad habits, and then I went self taught from there so that's probably your best option

I went through Warmoth guitar builders and made one up to suit. I asked to leave the control holes blank so I could drill them where I found comfortable.
