I think this could be some alternative ending, where black does sing, but doesn't let bf, to try to get the point across that this is the end and fate is coming to collect its due, with the final words bf hearing is that his entire journey, hell life even, was based on luck, which is frightening to hear from basically death itself, I hope this helps!
Wow. Just... Wow. If peak covers were definable in a dictionary, this would play when you turn the page. You took Black, the most dangerous and bloodthirsty character, and made him not only have some common sense, but make him a mighty Grim Reaper type who's sick of Boyfriend dodging death through dead luck and resetting. Bravo dude, this might just be the peak of no bf voice covers.

honestly speechless okay well maybe not first of all the decision to make defeat only black singing was a good move to really just get every last bit in here. and the art is all well done too. and the new piano bits are such a contrast (in a great way) to the normal defeat music. then the lyrics oh god the lyrics are fantastic. there is some sort of valor or honour in all of these but honestly I love how you humanized Black through all of this. The first section with Black explaining the reasons why they does this but then the flashback. Mythic did a great job with this section, and its lyrics are just as good. The "Nor did I" especially. then the bit after that then the final(e) bit. Dear god I love that. Its fourteen lines but I love how its delivered. its also where most of the references are which are greatly done. the first four lines are typical murderous space bean stuff but then after the White reference the next four lines have Black, actually thanking BF which is done super well. "I have rent a new beginning" okay okay starting good "And you helped me from the start." okay its gonna be a mocking sort of deal "But I simply can't let you keep on living" yep "Thank you for playing your part." THAT BIT. That line is done perfectly. Not only funni Green reference but it completely rewrites the other three lines. Black sounds actually sounds sad 'bout it. Then the next four lines are kinda, gifting, like "The story I've reaped just for you" that sounds very sincere even though its very ill intended (it really benefits from being after the other ones) Then the last two lines "Sure, I may control the game, but what does it mattter if none know my name..." From a random bit added onto the end of Danger to this godsend of a line humanizes Black just over the edge (like how the original concept of the mod was gonna do it). Also the ending and start bits I normally don't like these but here, it works, espically the end bit with "Luck" being pretty threatening. you got me to sympathize with a the imposter from among us what the fu
