Upper Moon is just league ahead of the Hashira beside maybe Sanemi and Gyomei. They are just that strong. Even if Uzui is not handicapped, he will still lose

The fact that uzui gets even stronger when fighting is because he can hear his enemy attack as a note in a song so he can read enemy movement like a book, if he didn’t get poisoned, he might be on par with gyuutaro, and of course with tanjiro’assist , they can defeat him

Sound breathing did come from thunderbreathing, however thunderbreathing is still more powerful since it is derived directly from sun breathing.

@@chileee5664 No. That's not completely true. Sound Breathing is an off shoot of thunder breathing which is an off shoot of sun breathing. Sound is weaker. Or to put it another way if you had 2 identical slayers who were both masters of each form. The thunder breathing one would be stronger

Tengen basically adapted Thunder Breathing into his own personal form, much like how the original user of Thunder Breathing adapted Sun Breathing into his own personal form. Also, I don't think there's any difference between the actual breathing technique employed by all the forms. Sun Breathing is the only one that has a different breathing technique, for the others, the difference lies in the forms and sword techniques, not the breathing. So Thunder and Sound aren't inherently stronger nor weaker than each other. It comes down to each user's skills and the mutitude of variable factors that apply to every fight.
