FRANKIE KNUCKLES is my personal no.1 dj/remixer/producer. he brought us the melodies of our life with or w/o def mix !!! from the beginning in the 80s/90s, i knew there's a KING OF HOUSE giving the world all his classic club mixes. ' cause of his mixes i knew, there's only ( quality ) HOUSE and CLUB music. no crap music, plastic pop, tech or edm ! no need to find other names or generic terms for the music. there's only CLUB or HOUSE music.
good points are made in this interview about quality of music, and shoping about good tracks, and that quality of music went so much down now a days, and people come up in litle comunities and real spiritual house will be back :)
He worked on/remixed five PSB tracks on three different albums, although I think that was his first. PSB got into the house movement (covered Sterling Void It's alright for Introspective) and the idea behind the album was to create a bunch of 12" type dance mixes (only six songs on Introspective)...so naturally, Frankie was a choice. Introspective went on to sell 7,000,000 copies worldwide.
