The lady who interviewed Mrs Sitaraman kept calling her 'Miss Sitaraman' or just 'Sitaraman', which is clearly wrong! Why could she not just say Nirmalaji. So called educated Indians are neither good at English nor Indian manners.

I think times now just dont know what questions should be asked to the "Deffence miniter". Nirmala ji is one of the most inspirational personal of todays india. It is shame you failed to take an appropriate interview of such a persona. Why didnt you did your homework?

Sitharaman has blossomed from a party loyalist into a no-nonsense, dedicated, strong-willed and able administrator. She is incorruptible and not afraid to hit back at the lethargic dynastic crooks who, during the rule of that pathetic dithering indecisive Maha Moorakh Singh, have undermined India's defense preparedness against China. She doesn't have Modi's charisma to enthrall the masses or her own political base, but otherwise she is a 'prime minister' material. She knows the reality that a lot of Indian military hardware - including basic equipment of a soldier - is inadequate and obsolete. She knows funds are limited and all wings of Indian military desperately needs rapid modernization to face looming threat from expansionist totalitarian China, which has literally taken over Pakistani establishment and was cleverly building military presence in Myanmar, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Maldives and even Nepal. In Modi II government, she will accelerate that process and build on critical alliances with the US and its allies -- India simply cannot deter and defeat Chinese military alone.
