Make a sucker kick video. Especially for those making the mistake to go to the ground against multiple attackers(or melee fight). Or go to the ground and forget to be aware for their surroundings(you never know what who and how can come onto you while on the ground even if you have one opponent/attacker in a lock)... very dangerous especially for guys who are used to go to the ground

Move off his line of attack. Not always backwards. Aikido 360 degrees.

Leftie or a rightie? But a few of us are ambidextrous, so it's not completely clear cut.

Whenever a stranger wants to talk to me I subtly move my right foot back get balanced and talk (always politely and nicely)using my left hand up to so I'm not intimidating BUT at least I have half a chance if there going to strike !!

Hi Nick (long term fan), just want to share something that’s happened. I live in the UK, where it used to be pritty quiet. Drove down to the petrol station and because its night time 1.30am the shop keeper is behind glass and night hatch. So buying im buying a can of drink. Suddenly this bloke is beside me, which puts me on edge, he has both hands shoved in his trouser pocks. I say "hi, whats in your pockets?" no reply from him. So I back up (Distance) "hey, take your hands out of your pockets, i dont know what youve got there" i point. he doesn’t. So im getting heated now, I feeling threatened. "Mind yourself" he says. i scrabble with my purchase, but didnt take my eyes off him. I keep looking directly at his hands in his pockets, in case he moves or any sign of dagger. Im angry and mumble "come at me bro, i swear" (meaning dont try it!) He says "if youre that scared, dont come here". To which i say nothing and leave, eyes on him all the time, I back up, walking backwards, retreat, get into my car with eyes on him and leave. I didnt get angry, i was calm but forceful. And at no point did I give him the opportunity to jump me. I guess i shouldnt have said "come at me brah, i swear!" and instead something like "i just want my can of drink and go". Anyway… Just wanted you to know, thank you for all youre videos. You don’t realise how many people you affect in life, and how many people, including me really appreciate you brother. All the best, stay safe, Kieron UK

Thinking about it, interestingly. This bloke was pinned to the spot as soon as i noticed and made that obvious. He didnt move an inch. Perhaps being caught out scuppered his plan, and so was waiting for me to do something.

@@simoneriksson8329 Yes mate. He stood way too close ... and when i looked round had his hands shoved into pockets. Like (im concealing something). I dont usually get that feeling.

No such thing as a sucker punch. If you are in someones face be prepared to defend yourself at all times. There is no number of shoves that must be completed prior to engaging
