RCE, in case you weren't aware, you were crippling yourself the entire run. Once you have 10, 20 and finally 30 gold saved up, your income per turn goes up by one as well. You spend it as it comes in, you will only ever be able to play 1.5 tiles per turn. If you let it build up, you can dump several tiles at once on the later, more difficult, turns.
@@patrickiamonfire965 Not if you play this game like most deckbuilder games and spend your gold asap to make your lane even stronger. And yes, this game is akin to a deckbuilder; just here we dont shuffle the deck ever and instd use those cards we buy to build a tower defense path.
0:24 Thankfully the next guild you unlock after that are the cannoneers, who are presumebly there to take care of the [REDACTED] in the only appropriate way.
You shouldn't spend too much on buying path. You get interest every 10 coins you have so if you feel like paths and towers are unnecessary, you should save money
Love watching you play tower defense games. 21:35 if you placed the garden on the edge (like at the south near your 2nd goal or the archer tower near there) you would have gotten 2 coins: 1 for the garden and 1 for a tile on the edge, since you got that booster/upgrade earlier. Just a thought.
16:15 am I crazy or was this a massive missed opportunity to bomb the flag on the right and get 4 freeze tiles next to two damage towers? Would've been OP.
No, because that freeze tower had a water tile attached. Where do you propose the water tile goes if it's placed surrounded on 3 sides by path and 1 side by a cannon? It would also only get 3 freeze tiles... like what??
It's interesting to see how developers take the basic mechanics from various games and remix them. I think I like this one better than the other. There is still some randomness, but you have more control over how the path develops.
It was actually a Kanabo that the first large enemy was wielding. I know it looks like a baseball bat, but the Japanese melee weapon had the shape and came about long before. It’s quite the weapon, too, because it has bulbous bumps to increase lethality.
It actually makes sense that the first unlock is called architect. You gotta remember that the first unlock is basically the lowest tier unlock they can give you.
so in my Design and Technology classes we are doing architecture, they asked if we knew what it is (duh we aint 5) and I said silly people who would build a planet of solar panels without giving any use for it. Was I right?
This title reminds me of one my favourite books growing up, Isle of View by Piers Anthony. He writes kid/teen fantasy books and it was full of puns, with the title sounding like I Love You being part of the plot even.
Not sure if he covers it as haven't finished the vid yet, but if you save your gold up then you get bonus amounts every turn. So, 2 gold if you have ten, three gold if you have twenty and 4 at 30. You definitely need them later in the game... 😁
@@RealCivilEngineerGaming Incredibly well put... I will now refer to them as "my EX childhood bestfriend" -- thank you for your logical, Engineer answer
Yeah, ya gotta give him an idea or else it wudnt make for a grt vid as he probs has run out of his own ideas there or else we wud see them. Maybe like suggest that he go back to the advice to launch towers and actually take up the challenge of relocatin the eiffel tower onto the mun. Or suggest he try to create the strongest shaped rocket with the tip bein where the engine sits so it spews the whole time as it flies up.
Actually... having Architects as the first unlock is actually a Good Thing! It means that the Engineer Unlocks is probably further along, and thus more important & refined! The Architects are effectively first dungeon vendor trash. 😉👍🏼
Actually that makes sense, since RCE noted that they are cantilevers rather than bridges, and everyone knows that Archi... Those people love excessive cantilevers!
RCE could play that one game where you are also building stuff on tops of mountains, you know where all the buildings are white and the earth is polluted or something? Never remembered the name.
Day 38:Dear Matt, I have a very good video idea Gather all your editors and make them all have a fight on like a PvP game (e.g. Minecraft,Rust,Ect,ect...) And see who is the best editor and is worthy of the rank of a classified engineering. From me.
Oh Matt... You pulled the biggest architect move ever... You put an ice trap down where it's useless instead of bombing the flag and getting 3 tile use out of it.
