In this day and age, we are either offending those around us with uncouth words or we’ve been offended by those we thought we could trust. If we’re offended, God will protect us from their stinging words and biting tongues and alleviate their weight from our souls. If we’re offending, the Lord will purge our spirits of our internal iniquities and restore us to a loving heart and open hand. In both instances, we prevent offense by forgiving one another - just as Christ forgave us on the cross! Turn that offense into a defense that gets you out of your feelings and into your faith!

My kids are placed in foster care ,my ex is an alcoholic and got in a DUI accident with them in the car. Been fighting to get them placed with me. At times I feel overwhelmed and defeated. I believe God is using this to draw me closer to him. But my faith is ,here at times and gone at other times 😔. Please pray for me and my family 🙏😔😢

Dear Tara Stancel, I am sorry you are going through so much. I hope you are able to seek out professional counseling and change in diet and perhaps including supplementation. Magnesium and ashwaganda did soooo much for my anxiety and depression. Also journaling, talking to Yahweh, and trying to put positive thoughts in my head. I was depressed for almost twenty years and I made it through. It was so hard that there didn’t seem like a day I didn’t ask Yahweh why was I born or to please let me not wake up. I’m glad He let me live because my life now is sooo good. Just hang in there sis! I’m praying for you!

Love The Potters House! I ALWAYS kept busy- and was told I’m never home ‘ I’m out too much’. I stayed home more then got told, ‘I need to get out more’. It is impossible to please even those I love. But I learned to lean on God and give it all to Him. I want to become more and more like Him 🙌🏽

One of the reasons I will always be grateful for Bishop Jakes is because his message speaks to our day to day lives, and also seeks to empower and heal those who love God. His sermons got me thru after the loss of my parents (2018 dad, 2019 mommy). There were days I was certain I would die, but I tuned in here n I can testify to a turn around in mind n spirit. For all who are struggling, hold on to the better parts of yourselves, and to Gods love for you.

@The Coconut Carver..in 2002 I lost my mother and a brother, four months later a sister, 10 months later the last brother of four. I thank GOD for all that HE does has purpose, and though these are the hardest times of my life, after losing my grandson and 2 nephews in this past year; I still trust GOD for one word that HE SPOKE. into my life when my oldest brother lost his life a month after sustaining injuries in the Vietnam war..HE SAID it has purpose.
