No.He isn't any good, and he's always hurt. This has been his whole career. The Bengals need to stop signing, these 1 year free agent tight ends, and draft one.@@SnoopyReads
@@snave59Hurst was solid, and we have a history of missing on TE in the draft, picked Gresham over Gronk and Aaron Hernandez one year, and Eifert, while great, never could stay healthy. I was being sarcastic about Smith in my original comment in case you missed that subtlety
here's what I believe-1) Both Zac & Lou have lost the ability to make half time adjustments 2) Tee has stunk it up so far with drops and opi's. 3) Irv Smith Jr. is not a good fit for this team. 4) Every tight end on this team needs to be waived at the end of the year. 5) Drew Sample= Bust. 6) Cody Ford is not Orlando Brown! 7) Myles Murphy is the true Mr. Irrelevant -what has he done? 8) Nick Scott cant carry either Bates or Bells jock strap-what was this guys Wunderlic-He is always late to cover over the top!!! 9) Waive him and save the salary-let Battle play... 10) Brad Robbins has stunk it up-lets bring in 3 punters over the bye.... not that I'm bitter or anything 11) draft a guard to replace Volson-he doesn't fit the scheme and he is the weakest link on the O-line-12) Whole lot of back up O-line men need to be waived over the off season...13) Trayveon Williams is just a guy....
It’s amazing watching the Dolphins offense and wondering why we can’t scheme the same way with the talent we have. I understand Burrow wasn’t healthy the first part of the season after last week I expected much more.
@@GameTimeWithUptownBlaque Iosivas has speed but he isn’t getting the playing time as a rookie. He has looked good in the attempts he has had so hope he gets more playing time.
Bengals offense could be just as good as Dolphins with the talent they have even if it doesn't look exactly the same. There are no excuses for Zac Taylor to have such a painfully basic offense that it wastes elite talent.
Hands off to the defense. But if Zac Taylor can't start to scheme an effective running game, this team is at a disadvantage to every good team they will face. You have to manage the clock better by sustaining drives. And running the ball helps the O line be more effective and the passing game opens up through play action. I don't understand why we can't play more under center. And we really need samaje back.
Great halftime adjustments by Hack Taylor. If I see another screen or swing pass or pass inside of 5 yards I'm going to throw up. Did everyone watch Boomer and Cower and Phil going on about how Taylor needs to run the ball more and balance out this offense a little bit and take some pressure off of Taylor's Burrow. The ownership needs to tell Hack to either step down as the play caller or step down as the head coach.
13 runs not counting 2 Burrow scrambles!!! That’s unacceptable!!!! So sick of seeing 3 straight incompletions and three and out!!!! And what the hell are they thinking throwing the ball on that 3rd down near the end of the game???? Make Seattle use their final timeout! Thank the defense for winning this game!
I really just hope this offense can get to 100 percent. Not just for a quarter or 2 but for an entire game. Of we want to make the playoffs and run to the superbowl again this offense has to play like it did for the first 2 drives. They couldnt even knock a single minute off the clock in the end to put this game away they got to figure out whats up. Playcalling, injury or whatever it is
I think the seahawks made some great adjustments that discombobulated the offense for a few drives, and on the others the execution was awful. I didnt see that many play calls that I thought were bad, but always room for improvement all around. Brown going out might have changed the gameplan a bit too.
I am at around 29 minute mark. Say it with your chest jake get tee involved. It's not skill group Boyd got endzone yosh on the first career td. Tee and burrow are not on the same mindset and I do think that has to do with burrow taking so much on his contract
Again our def saved the day. Glad the offense got some points today. 13 points is a great output for our defense against a good Seattle team... please sound just as excited for Yoshi, his production, and awareness as you would for chuck sizzle... they both are good... but availability is the best ability.
When we going to talk about the punting we still struggling with punting even though he had a couple good ones last game. We also need to talk about why Irv Smith isn't contributing much like uzomah and Hurst has in our offense and he supposed to be more dynamic more explosive more speed more athletic but has been worse then those 2 lol nothing makes sense with our coaching with how we run our offense ugh just so frustrating as a guy who looks at all the details and sees the talent we have and still can't produce to our talent. No reason we shouldn't be putting up over 30 points a game none.
Late blitzes and free runners are crushing this team. Volson is gonna get Joe Borrow another broken leg if they keep playing this way. Why isn't Chase Brown getting more touches to backup Mixon? Offense has to be better still. Please tell me Orlando Brown is okay. QB misses throws and receivers aren't catching contested catches like before. Something cohesive is missing with this team. Tight end and guard on offense needs work.
Volson isn't a dumpster fire. I just don't think he is ready. He is not seeing what he needs to see. I've been harsh but rightly so. He is a tackle playing guard. They need a guard who knows how to play guard.
This game shouldn't have meant so much. Seattle is a wild card team at best...Bengals are AFC Championship Game expected...this should not have been this close, nor should it have meant so much. This team is still disappointing
Don't like to criticize any players but could someone tell me about (te) Mr. Smith I thought he was going to add another "dimension" to this team.? On offense.
He gets hurt a lot. That has been how it has been his whole career. But even when healthy,he hasn't done anything. They need to stop signing free agent TE's,and just draft one.
Yea when the Seahawks can’t get themselves to call the right plays in the end zone 5 times and actually finish the drive then the score board would have looked like a blowout because that’s exactly what happened bengals didn’t do nothing impressive Seahawks were the better team bengals couldn’t get near the end zone most of the game but again the Seahawks beating themselves
This offense is one of the most underperforming units in the history of the NFL. Joe Burrow comes out and is something like 17/19 with 150 yards and 2 TDs or something like that and then doesn't do anything for the last 2.5 quarters of the game. That cannot happen. He got paid lots of money. It's time to criticize him accordingly. This is before you blame play calling and discuss whether or not Taylor should be relieved of his duties as an offense custodian.
Tua is trash and would be nothing in any other offense with any other coach. McDaniels literally said it to his face. I watched the clip. Burrow > Tua. McDaniels > Zac Taylor. Plain and simple.
Not at all did not lead with his crown hills hit was clean.led with his shoulder hit helmets from collision it’s unavoidable that was a clean hit helmets hit…. flag
Great W and all. But, can someone tell Zac or whoever calls the plays to stop calling those damn empty set plays! It's so predictable (especially when u call it back to back)
Yeah please stop with the stupid horizontal offense. It's so bad. Reminds me of Jeff Fishers Rams before McVay took over. Then with the same personell he took them from worst to first on offense.
Nice to see that 1st round pick playing has.But we all know TE is to early in the draft to be our first pick. We also need to quit running the ball up the middle. COME ON COACH! 12:45
He would cost at least,a first round pick, and probably more. Not happening. They have had plenty of opportunities,to draft several TE's,and have passed on all of them.
Trade for Defensive tackle..and a new explosive running back. There is just no interior pass rush. And mixon is just solid but it just seems like as soon as someone puts a arm on him he immediately go downs. Again love mixon but he clearly has lost a step.
One of my main concerns is their ability to shut down these teams who are on 3rd down. It seems everyone is rolling over them at this point. Other than that they looked good especially defense in the second half.
Burrow is not the problem. He can't control droppped passes.Poor blocking by the off line,in the pass protection, and the run game. Was he a little off today? Yes.But he is usually very good.
The offense is pathetically, inexcusably, painfully basic, uncreative, and bad. Too simple. Too basic. No misdirection. No play action passes. No boot legs. No nothing. Study what Miami is doing... Zac Taylor's offense makes me want to throw up with how much talent he's wasting with this painfully basic offense.
We need a stronger run game period !! Offensive line has to block better and rb's need to hit the gaps better ! Joe can air the ball if the run game can get established !! At this point we are doing just enough to get by but we will be hitting harder teams as we go and our division is good so far this year ! Clevand made a statement today aginst the 49ers and thats says alot ! They had a good run game something the Bengals need desperately ! We get a great🎉 running back , maybe it would make Mixon play harder !! A TIGHTEND would be nice too ! Sample aint producing like he should !!
