you're beautiful and your hair is definitely 4C. I have 4C and have curls like yours if I shingle. People think 4C cannot have a curl pattern but it can have little spirally curls with product or an aztec mask.
I love it, "I command you" to deep condition. Girl, my hair already has me trained. Even if I don't have time for a full wash day, I will make time to deep condition. Yes, ma'am.
@SBLACKW C she is def 4c, you dont know 4 types hair do your research girl. if you see 4a & 4b curl patter and texture then you will change your mind. when you have type 4 hair research is very important.
This looks really great and i was looking for a video to define my 4c instead of a fro that i hide under a head wrap lol but watching this vid became overwhelming and it's just me because I don't have the patience when it comes to my hair i guess that's the natural life especially with 4c but when i stop being lazy I'll attempt this routine
Damn that's hella work. I wish us 4 type hair would stop chasing a define curl. Because if it don't pop with just wet and go, sis it ain't for us. We got lots of other cute and neat styles to do, doesn't have to involve chasing a curl pattern or forcing it.
Saaaaame. But mine is definitely type 4. Just not sure whether its a, b or c cause it varies. Im going to wait for it to grow out before i make a hasty judgement
unathi it could be a mix. mine is 4c in the middle, 4a in the back, and 4b with a lil hint of c in the front. it could be because of heat but it’s been like that as long as i could remember 🤷🏾♀️
Your hair is 4C it’s the same hair texture I have. Without gel my hair is a usual puff but once I put some gel in it it’s tightly curled and shrunken then I tie the edges down for few minutes and it no longer lasts oks like a 4C. I guess 4C has different ways of being represented.
For the commenters who don’t believe this is 4C hair. You either don’t have 4C hair or don’t know how to work with 4C hair. I am 4C And when I feel my scalp the new growth is tiny coils that’s are very much defined. If I moisturize it correctly those coils POP!! But the key is maintaining moisture with 4C hair. When I decided to go natural 10 yrs ago I was even shocked! To see those coils, but they were there! The versatility of 4C is amazing!
Girl My hair seems to be more like yours and After seeing my hair finally have definition and doin a wash and go I can definitely say that I think I'm like a 4b 4c now and I think u are as well
Blessings.. yes you can have really thick hair and kinky ..but still have a mixture texture....me and my family have different hair mixture.. But all have thick and puffy hair .. Our hair curls with water but moisture makes curls the best.. But black hair is spiritual and fierce..

I wash my hair weekly with a mix of shikakai powder with oil and water and 1 a month with rassul and water and oil mix. I mix a amla,rose gloss bare with my deep conditioner for deep treatment and follow up with hydration and a aruyvedique oil butter mix to seal in the moisture. As gel for defining my curls I use the uncle funky’s daughter curl magic gel. This helps me keep my hair moistured
i think as our hair grows out, the curl pattern shows more, and it usually gets more defined into whichever pattern you'll have. I'm not sure you'll be bale to tell for a couple of moths, but I'm betting mid 4b/4/c, maybe as it gets longer, you might find it's even a little 4a
idk if twists/braids to stretch and then adding product count as a wash and go. That was also finger coiling not shingling. Great results !! But not wash and go
For the people saying she’s 4a, I don’t think she is. I feel like the curl type chart should have more divisions in it. Not All 4c hair looks the same or a acts the same. It can get confusing sometimes for sure!
This hairstyle is bomb, also is there a video with info about that strip you put on your edges cus i need to invest in one. Also its actually funny what the natural hair community call wash and go's cus we know that we are gunna be stretching and styling that hair for hours haha. this wash and go really lasted 2 nights!... its hard out here
Does a tangle teaser break 4b /4c hair off? I have a brush similar to it but I have so much hair left over in the brush even if I detangled before buttt it makes my curls defined.
