@@lampini maybe you’re right. Maybe they would be stars on other teams. I know they do shine when they are playing weaker teams. But don’t seem to show up when playing equal caliber or better teams. 🤔 Maybe that’s where they get all those superstar stats,,, from playing weaker teams. What is that stat about the Cowboys where they’ve gotten 12 wins for the last 3 seasons. Wonder what kind of teams did they get those from. Evaluate the wins man. There is a lot of misleading stats.

I am a huge Cowboy fan and I honestly think these next couple of years are going to be the most 'entertaining years' possible of all time. What I mean is that they literally played themselves with the first Dak Contract back in 2020?, with no cap now and they will have to bid against themselves if they do decide to keep dak long term and sign him. The Micah contract is gonna be nuts along with the CeeDee contract. To quote T.O. I am going to get my popcorn ready!

The real problem is they are F'd with Dak's contract. They can't pay top in the NFL money to CD or Micah. That's what happens paying an unqualified player that kind of money. There are a lot of teams in the NFL about to be in the same position.

As an Eagles fan, what I was dreading , was that they were going to aggressively extend Dak Prescott, get some cap room, Bring in Patrick Queen, King Henry and some O-line, then draft well again. Perhaps trade Dak on Draft Day, to a team he likes, that misses out on their QB target.

The thing is, Jerry probably IS all-in this year. He just doesn't have what's needed to actually win. He's made high bets and lost for the past 30 years so his all-in is pushing the two blue chips he has left to the middle of the table when everyone else is wagering with larger pots. He's the guy putting down all 1 grand he has at the high roller table where everyone else is making 15k wagers for just checks

The window closed last season for Dallas. 2024 is going to be a lame duck season for Dak and McCarthy barring some improbable miracle run. "All in" in this case means relatively tanking before a rebuild

To be honest I am a little puzzled Do me a favor: review the Cowboys rosters going back the last ten years. Considering pundit projections and not actual performance for a moment, has it not been claimed by MANY of you that the Cowboys has had the roster talent necessary to win championships?? I remember a LOT of you claiming YES!!! Reads pretty "all in" to me... Next obvious question is: WHY NOT???? Assuming Jerry Jones is legitimately doing his best to have an all-star roster year in and year out, what is REALLY the issue with the Cowboys?? It looks like, just as the credit all goes to Jerry Jones for his efforts, such is all the blame goes to Jerry Jones for creating too many distractions that take the team out of contention year after year

I think the mistake the Cowboys make is that once they have a good core they stick with it for too long without shaking things up. We're joking about them going "all in" and yet seemingly doing nothing this offseason. I think Jerry Jones thinks that giving one last go with the Dak Prescott lineup is going "all in" as if risking it all on what you've got is like betting all your poker chips. They stuck with Romo after it was clear they would never win a Superbowl with him. Jason Garrett infamously had three consecutive 8-8 seasons as head coach and Jerry stuck with him. That's the worst result for a team because you miss the playoffs but you also get a mediocre pick in the draft. Now we're past the point for Dak. If he was going to lead the team for a big playoff run it would have happened already. Jerry watches his team crap out early in the playoffs for multiple seasons in a row and doesn't see the need for change. I think he sees a record of .500 or more and thinks "this should be a good team".

Maybe Jerry should say, that he has already pushed all in. no more money for this team. Everything I have for this hand or this team as constructed in this case has already been exhausted. If you are really all in Poker, technically that means that you can't keep adding to the current pot. ZERO changes after that moment. You just sit and wait for all of the cards to be laid out and see if your hand was good enough. He is walking away from the table if he doesnt win. IMO

Can the Cowboys afford signing Lamb, Parsons, and Prescott? Lamb and Parsons are top echelon at their positions and Dak is worth less money than both of them, but is still deserving of a contract since there's nothing better out there available. Signing these 3 guys for top dollar doesn't leave much money for other acquisitions, so this team really needs to make their draft picks count if they want to get over the hump of not winning meaningful games since 1995.
