U took x^2 and e^x and assigned the limits to both of them?

But acc to the formula it's u.integral(v) right? So the limits should only apply to the v part!?

The limits of the definite integral apply to the entire antiderivative. I may be misunderstanding your question, but when we set up our integration by parts (uv-int(vdu), we must apply the limits to uv and the antiderivative of vdu. Hope this helps.

in the second question, the e^x will be in count not the x^2.

+1 not 7/9 on first example

I am not sure where you are indicating a +1. There is -8/9 and a +1/9 giving a -7/9
