Summer Swee-Singh has written and recorded multiple instrumental arrangements for piano and strings (and some solo piano), covering the likes of Thrice, Circa Survive, Brand New, Deftones, Justice, Skrillex, Daft Punk, Ratatat, and much more. She is a touring and studio pianist/keyboardist with credits including Anthony Green, Circa Survive, Chon, KSHMR, Until the Ribbon Breaks, Chief Keef, Alexandra Shipp, and more. Summer also is a composer and released her debut album in 2016 titled "Summer Swee-Singh & the Crazy 88" and is set to release her sophomore album in 2019. Summer can be hired to write accompanying piano/keys and strings (up to full orchestra) arrangements for studio and tour, contracting keys and string players in both California and New York (from her ensemble Summer Swee-Singh & the Heartstrings), as well as performing as a pianist or keyboardist and backing vocalist (solo piano, in a duo with a violinist ["Yas & Sum"], piano quartet, or in a band) for private and public high-end events such as corporate events and luxury and celebrity weddings; please contact her for her rates and other professional inquiries: www.summerswees... .

Lol, it’s cause I wrote the whole arrangement, so I memorized the part I was gonna play on piano (since I know the songs and their melodies well). So to make it work, I only had to to write out the parts I composed for my string players :)

Hey Sterling! I generally actively avoid listening to other pianists and string arrangers covers to ensure I'm writing from my own voice (sometimes I'll listen to another piano or string cover after I've already written my own arrangement), but still very much appreciate the suggestion. I don't listen to Killswitch either (sorry!), but will continue to cover the likes of Deftones, Circa Survive, Brand New, Thrice, and more in this piano quartet format :)

Thanks Daniel! Don't listen to Say Anything really and haven't listened to TBS in forever, but wouldn't rule out a TBS medley in the future. You'll probably hear more Thrice/ Circa/ Deftones/ Brand New/ Sufjan Stevens since I try to mostly cover stuff I already adore and can hear accompanying string arrangements for in my head (cause I'm a weirdo). :P x

Summer Swee-Singh There is nothing weird about combining beautiful strings and classical elements to these pieces!:) The fact that the bands you are combining with are some of my faves already is the bees knees!
