While teaching in Florida, israeli students were invited and visited our predominately black school. As a history teacher I was pained by their visit. The principal and assistant principal had no clue about the devastation the Israelis have caused on the Palestinians and the Middle East. Thank you Max. I am for BDS. I want Israel to live in peace. I almost always feel depressed and disillusioned when watching news/interviews about the Palestinian struggle, but I felt really inspired by this, particularly the last speaker.
I am so relieved to find other people who see what I see. The truth can be a very lonely place! It's very hard to get through to friends and family what's going on. Every time I say something about the subject on facebook or news sites I'm called anti-semetic which does not bother me anymore but used to. My concern is all the U.S. military people getting killed in wars that are not theirs! Washington has been bought and our taxes go to protecting Israel and not to bettering the American peoples health or infrastructure. Sad!

i think it might be more important to ask if the relationship between the u.a. & israel is good for israel / palestine. israel's abuses are directly reliant upon u.s. funding, without which they would need to behave peacefully and diplomatically in order to exist in the region, which would mean a healthier society all around. engaging in ethnic abuse, while of course is most critically a problem for the victims, also creates a pathological society for the perpetrators.

The U.S. is not holding the cards with Israel. (I should say "chips', as in "intel inside" chips.). These chips are important to U.S. and the military. Someone needs to get a better chip to market and stop buying intel if they are worried about Israel's influence.
